    A little light hearted fun, amid our City woes.

    Have you ever looked a complete pealock, and readily admitted, and even laughed ?

    About 8 years ago, I decided to burn some rubbish (It was close to Bonfirenight ;) ) It was a Saturday, and I gave my 60+ foot run of conifers a trim. I gathered the debris, and placed on the 'pile'. It was a bright and warm day, so chance for the leaves and twigs to 'dry'.

    About 5.30 PM I decided to set fire to it all.
    About 8.00 PM, it eventually 'caught'. (3 Guinness and my evening meal being had) :(

    Frustration just doesn't come close, nor embarrassment !

    To make matters worse, my Daughters 'tribe' (mates) had started to turn up at 7.00 PM, and so as well as those dozen or so, I had quite a few neighbours looking on, yes, an old dear with a 'cuposoup' included !

    Yet, as the fire finally blazed, one of the girls shouted "Look on the bright side Chris - You'll never be charged with an Arson offence !"
    At that point, I just sat down on the spot, and laughed at myself, with the rest of them.
    Needless to say, all garden waste since, now goes to recycling !!! :)

    Go on ....... Spill the beans - What have YOU done squirmingly !! :D

    When they were filming the crowd scenes for the film ID at VP some years ago....
    They were filming a particular scene at half time where one of the characters was being escorted down the touch line near the dug out by the "police". All of a sudden, he broke amf and started running and gesturing. At the top of my voice in a quite subdued Kop I shouted "Get hold of him and break his fecking legs ".
    A bloke behind me tapped me on the shoulder and explained the fact that they were filming....
    Where's a big hole when you need to crawl into it?

    I danced 'the floss' in a shoe shop a few months ago when my daughter refused to leave without a pair of shoes. She left immediately.

    Don't think she has quite recovered from that.

    You obviously weren't getting paid for a talking part, if I remember the movie every other word was F*****g this or F*****g that.
