There is roughly 5 years of strikers for you there. We sign crap. We are crap.

By your logic, we should just give up on signing any players because we have previously signed players who were crap. There's no logic at all in your argument. You may want to rethink your approach

 

My logic? I’ve just given you a list of 16players that we’ve signed who have been absolutely dreadful in just 5 years.
Wells left us 10 years. Get over it. If we are going by your “logic” we should be ok with signing crap in the hope that we get one good player every decade. Sorry for being so pessimistic but I’m sick of mediocre dross.
Yes it would be lovely to have a team full of players like Andrew Davies, Gary Jones and Nahki Wells but we don’t. We are crap.
The lad might be “promising” and I hope he does well but it just screams of lazy recruitment from Gent AGAIN and I’m bored of it.

 

Donaldson Vaughan and lee Novak we’re not dreadful

 

Well Vaughan played 20 odd games and demanded to leave and while Clayton tried he wasn’t up to it. Novak was ok when fit so maybe dreadful was harsh.
15 crap players in 5 years then. 3 crap strikers a season on average. Brilliant.

 

Donaldson was truly awful.

 

Eventually after all the will he wont he of January we've now got a very talented 22year old lad up front that's like a new signing for us. Added to that the clubs identified a 20 year old with bags of potential who's itching to set his career blossoming. He may be more Neil Tolson than Nakki Wells, who know's, however Im going to sure as hell enjoy watching him try more than a 36 year old that should have hung his boots up 2years ago. Im pleased with CK's signing. Hope he makes you eat your words.

People can try and spin this singing into a positive all they like. It’s not good enough.
Some striker from Middlesbrough where our useless head of recruitment came from, a keeper who’s played about 3 games in 5 years who got the job because he used to play along side our back up and Wright. I’m glad I’ve given up giving this club another penny of my money. It’s a complete circus.

Is there anything more Bradford City than the manager saying he knew CK was for us when he told him (about his previous loan spells in league 2), 'I couldn't stick the ball in the back of the net. I had chances but I just couldn't do it'. I mean, that's the problem we have with the players that are here already so he should fit right in.
