    Really good listen.

    Interesting that he says we started after him in July. He turned down offers from leagues above to come here and admires Stuarts football philosophy and feels SM can bring him on as a player.

    Also that he says Leeds they like players who can play in more than 1 position.

    Well done to the club for persevering and getting him in.

    Sounds like a bright young man who knows what he wants.

    I think both have done well. They both have made mistakes in Staunton’s case he is only 18 you expect it and French is fairly new to the position and new to league football.
    In Staunton’s case he looks the best prospect we have seen come through for a while

    Surely this puts to bed some of the bull that gets posted on here about us not targeting and scouting players? If we've kept an eye on him since July clearly some home work has gone into it....

    He's only been given a one year extension, so I think its pretty clear that its only to command a transfer fee if another club wants him. Can't see Leeds giving a one year deal to a player they are serious about playing.

    Not really getting all the plaudits for French. Yes he's assisted 2 goals and undoubtedly gives 100% but I think he's a squad player.

    I'd worry about the quality of the new lad if he can't make RB / RWB his own given other options.

    This is interesting.

    "Leeds United seal loan move for Bryce Hosannah" and "out of favour full back" paint a picture that is much more likely than Bryce being a top Leeds prospect.

    He's clearly a lad that needs football, isn't going to play for Leeds, and the move benefits Leeds (hence Leeds seal the deal, rather than City seal the deal) - which is important because it suggests his progress is pivotal to his future at Leeds, rather than a predetermined exit.

    Sounds very much like he will be available on a permanent, though, and very similar to the Paudie O'Connor loan.

    Time will tell.

    Doesn't sound like a random kid, though.

    Yep some good signs on this one. Really glad to see the squad take shape too. We actually have a bit of depth now which we didn't have last season. Hope this guy cracks on for us. Just need that striker now!
