Not interested 1 bit and more than likely wont be watching, none the less should be a good yard stick for MH of whats required for next season against one of the better teams at this level who are also in good form. Obviously I always want my team to play well etc. But I must admit I'm slightly concerned at some of them that have been serial underperformers now decide to put a shift in that contracts are expiring, and claiming cos it's working under MH bla bla, personally I'd expect anyone playing for our club to always give their all regardless who's in charge.

Out of interest, which players do you believe were deliberately not trying under Adams but have now made a conscious decision to increase their effort under Mark Hughes?

 

No change there then. Always agro when Barton is around

 

Like him or loath him he's done a good job at the Gas, against us we were cruising at 2 - 0 he change their formation and we finished up holding on to a point, even with the improvement we've seen under Sparkie I think we'll return pointless , unless Bristol get the run in jitters.

 

Let's hope we can make it 15th time lucky and finally get a win at their place.
Full credit to anyone going to the match, awful ground to get to and get out of and the stands aren't great either.

Hope Sutton gets a place as we look more like scoring when he plays, We miss hiss runs committing defenders

 

As energetic as he is it's difficult to find where to play him because his technical ability isn't the best. A few months ago he was first name on the sheet probably because he out ran and looked busier than his teammates. With Sparky I think he wants to get his technically better players on the pitch and play in a more controlled way. Sutton is good for bringing on against tired legs in my opinion.

Will he be here next season? I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't.

 

Wouldn't mind him being here next season, he's probably cheap and is a good worker.

Like you say, bringing him on against tired legs does seem a solid role for him.

I wouldn't dismiss the notion of him performing that task next season.

 

With almost all the players brubeck back in training does that mean Daly has returned? Not sure if he offers enough to warrant a place in the starting 11.

Only been the once in 1971 long drive down and then getting our arses well and truly kicked 7 - 1 more embarrassing was on our way back we stopped in Gloucester for a meal and the City team all walked in much to their embarrassment saw the 4 of us sat with our City shirts and scarves, needless to say no conversations we struck up.

 

We were there that night, on way back from honeymoon in Torquay, was it Ritchie in goal, every shot a goal.....
