    Great post this. Some great memories. My dad used to live in The Robin Hood

    Family of mine used to run the Barkerend and the Robin Hood. If anyone remembers Brendan from Cavan lol

    I was 15 as well. Nab Wood Sports Centre followed swiftly by the Horse and Farrier, the Swing Gate and the ice rink

    The original Empress, yes I know, aged about 14!

    Flying Dutchman on Lumb Lane quite a bit from about 15-16 onwards . Reggae jukebox was awesome!

    The Oak, Socketts Heath in Grays, Essex at age 16 - 1972. The beer was probably Worthington E.

    Nearly all the pubs in Thurrock sold disgusting keg Charringtons muck until around 1977, when the monopolies commission made them do some pub swaps with Courage. We then got to sample the hand pulled delights of Courage Best, Directors and Castle Eden bitter.

    I didn’t have a pint. Gin and Orange in the Royal at Crossflatts:) plus the oh has to vouch I was 18.

    We're you a Bradford Moor lad @Fools Gold@Fools Gold, had my 21st in the Barrack Tavern, but preferred the "Coach & Horses over the road brought up on Tetleys and Ramsdens J believe if had a brewery up Manchester Road..

    Barkerend is where i learned what a tap room was lol would get a sneaky shandy from my cousin in the summer.

    They ran the Bedfordshire in the 80's, maybe out of your way Bronco
