Gilliead and Hughes had a proper shouting match at each other just before HT.

 

Clayton and Halliday have been exceptional for me

Clayton’s injury, at the time it occurred, without doubt weakened our run in.

This ain’t over, but they are excellent. Reminds me of the way Man City play formation wise.

 

Seem very disjointed. No width.

Banks seems to be upfront further forward than cook most of the time. No idea where walker is playing.

 

Tbf to Gilliead he's having to cover a lot of work with banks now upfront down the middle. No idea thinking why banks is there.

 

It’s been faultless for me for a change.

 

A win here and it could be an away match first in the play offs.

If we can start the second half well and press them up the pitch, get on the front foot then we could easy win this.

 

I'd actually say it's the opposite. They started the second half very slowly albeit City were playing and pressing higher.

 

We can barely put 2 passes together!!

 

Hard to know what to make of those subs. OK, Walker and Banks haven't scored or created many chances in the last couple of days but those feel very defensive changes.

 

I mean, they're clearly trying but they're not really busting a gut to score a goal or put too much pressure on. I think that's why it's so frustrating watching our somewhat inept attacks. We don't really seem to be trying to win, there's a lot of sideways and backward passing and not enough forward running.

 

Carlisle are above us.

 

6th now.

Disappointing that we couldn't try and apply some pressure to score a winner. If we went 2-1 up I think we'd have held on.

 

Salford have lost.
