Nice to see Odusina and Crichlow pushing up and taking the ball forwards.

 

Lots of good performances, but Hendrie has been poor.

 

Crichlow is so frustrating. If I had a pound for every time he passed backwards I'd be a rich man. Under no pressure whatsoever he looks to pass to Lewis. If we get at them at pace they're all over the place. Slow it down and Leicester look comfortable.

 

East has had a fantastic half , best player on the field by a country mile

How good is Lewis on the ball? In fact, he's better than many of our outfield players.

Whatever the final score, this has been a brilliant game so far. Very impressive from City. We’ve really played some lovely stuff tonight.

 

I like suttons energy and ability to drive with the ball, however with the quality we've got now he's a useful squad player and that's it. not good enough to start regularly but won't let you down if you rotate now and again.

 

So they should be considering the opposition. Poor to let a 2 goal lead slip.

 

East had a good first half. Young was lively in the second, including a decent free kick which hit the bar. Timmy had a solid game.
Hendrie, Sutton, Crichlow and Harratt were off the boil. I thought Don "Perignon" Pereira was once again a bit of a let down.

 

Because they are hardly boys. They are potential premier league footballers, most of whom will achieve more in the game than 90% of our squad.

 

So East didn’t play ? Must be my eyes. Him and Leicester captain were a different class

 

The kid who ran the show cannot recall his name has played at England U 19 levels in multiple levels ............ a fair few of them so called boys will do well in the game within the next few years ............ think a fair few on here cannot wait for it to go wrong to say I told you so ............ but sad really

I’m only stating the obvious, even you yourself agree.

The way he approached the penalty for example was naive at best. He picked the ball up walked to the edge of the box whilst the ref and the keeper had just left the centre circle! He had all that time to wait before taking the pen. What is a keepers no 1 objective when faced with a pen….Slow it all down , delay the kick, and let the penalty taker stew in his nervousness! Sutty did it for him!!

Out of 10 what would you give him for last nights 90 mins and penalty?


He wasn’t alone either

Harratt extremely poor.
Young poor - constantly going down a rabbit hole and losing the ball
Crichlow never a full back ( if that’s what he was supposed to be playing) in a million years ….too slow, no overlaps I can recall. Hendrie had less effect as a result. The young winger had Hendrie on toast several times.

The rest I would give a 6, except East who was a 9 first half and 7/8 second half.

I only give my opinion based on what I see, not because someone may agree or disagree , like or dislike it.

 

That bunch of kids would comfortably finish bottom of this division of they played a full season in it though.

I'm certainly not buying into the doom and gloom after a penalty shoot out loss with a fringe side but neither am I accepting the narrative that Leicesters kids should be competitive at this level.

 

This is Bradford. Fans need a scapegoat to vent their life's frustrations on. The nearly season with McCall etc the likes of Law got so much stick. It's weird but inevitable

 

Fair dos Kev. It was a poor penalty from someone who obviously isn't used to taking them. For what it's worth I thought Gillieads was even worse, even though he scored. I though Harratts looked like a proper pen.....but he missed!

In answer to your question, I would have given Sutton a strong 6. Not brilliant but not shocking either. He does what he does and MH knows what he is getting. I didn't think Hendrie was terrible either, although I agree the winger did skin him early in the first half, but he learned and after that I thought handled him better.

I agree with the rest! although I thought East faded a bit more second half.

Critchlow annoys the hell out of me. For someone with so much footballing ability he seems to be the one who slows our play down more than anyone else on the pitch.
