I was watching birds in the sky in the second half, seeing if I could recognise what they were. I was bored shitless.

 

Funnily enough, I too was watching the birds flying near the kop.

 

The game should have been over at half time with at least a couple of goals second half was poor from both sides. Walker hardly made a save

 

Could it be that he was injured but also GA was told if a big enough bid comes in he'll be sold?

Think this is about as many words as I would use for the game yesterday.

 

What’s new here of course if any club matched our value he would have been sold there was no secret there they turned bids down because they weren’t enough. No cat out the bag no secret. If someone has come up with silly money he would have gone. The same with just about every player in this league

 

Exactly. If that was a theatre performance you’d ask for your money back as neither team gave any value for money. Both teams atrocious

 

And how many saves did the Wimbledon keeper make

Eh? Neither team deserved to win that game. The second half might aswell have not been played. Complete non event.
I listened to Alexander after the game and was actually impressed with what he had to say, they were much different from his previous ramblings.
I think he has found much of his time here so far frustrating but I do think given time he will be able to implement what he needs to turn our fortunes around.

 

He just can't say a word wrong against them.....

He may not be on form but who is? I doubt Cook would receive the same treatment if it was him instead coming off.

 

I agree. I don’t think it helps players and would hazard a guess it destroys confidence. Not to mention having a negative impact on the team as a whole, who might be anxious in case they are next in the firing line.

 

I cringed when I heard the ironic cheering at the news of his substitution. Same folk with faux outrage every time he steps up for a set piece.

 

The faux outrage right before he whipped in the best set piece of the game with a free kick that curled narrowly wide and was a good height to attack.

If they can't support the players even before they make a mistake, they're at the wrong game. Giving them stick after a mistake is slightly different, but not before.

 

Yeah its a strange atmosphere at VP these days. Almost like failure is the better option in the vain hope it might see the end of Rupps tenure.

 

I said Wimbledon were the worst team I have seen this season I never said we played well just that we should have won and with 58% possession and nearly twice as many shots and with three or four acceptable chances they should have done

 

How the hell does having 58% possession mean anything? You seem to be conveniently forgetting Wimbledon had the best chance to score with a clear blatant penalty turned down. That's goes in and I can't see another goal in the game. Fact of the matter is even with Jake Young back Alexander still hasn't worked out a formation to make us an attacking threat. Not all his fault due to a woeful transfer policy and we did look sound defensively but going forward we are poor.

 

And again how many shots did the Wimbledon keeper have to save ????.
And you can bring all the stats out there but i can see with my own eyes how crap both teams where and for the what the Wimbledon keeper had to do he could have sat with me
