I’d hazard a guess that that’s our best calendar year since 2017, not that some of the years in between would take much beating.

 

So very true so why did Hughes rip up the blue print and take another route, it has been quoted many time we just needed strengthening in a few positions and go again, it would be an interesting question to ask him ever given the chance, I've said many times I'll watch any type of football dished up as long as the end product got us out of this league but there was little pleasure going down to Valley Parade, in fact away games seemed to offer far better entertainment under him.

 

Just a pity it is 2 half-seasons combined. Keep it up for a full season and we could sneak the auto’s

Although having said that, I really wish following season after season of false promises by Sparks and co, we could mount a serious challenge for once and actually win the title outright similar to Northampton did about 7 or 8 seasons ago

Hughes's act is the most baffling I've ever come across in nearly 40 years of supporting this club.

 

I think we were 3rd in the 2nd half of the season table. Behind Stockport and Gillingham.

This is why I won't accept that Hughes was some kind of disaster. He just became one
