Bradford City "even better" than Man City or Utd

Tram travel is only included when either buying a ticket between two stations in Greater Manchester (e.g. Rochdale to Stockport) or by paying the appropriate tram supplement (which most railway ticket office staff don't seem to know how to issue, even if it on their ticket system).

Depending on the ticket I hold, and how much time I've got to spare, I sometimes get the train via Oxford Road and the Ordsall Chord, sometimes get the tram, sometimes get the free bus or sometimes walk.

 

It is a gentle walk. I just follow the tram tracks up the hill, crossing Shude Hill and you are soon in Piccadilly gardens. The Marble Arch, is a great detour off the bottom of Rochdale Road.

 

But not Leeds/Bradford.
