I didn't boo but surely the highlighted part would suggest just why many were booing ?.

Bradford is the 10th biggest city in England with a population of ~600,000
Hartlepool has spent the last 4 years in the non leagues and has never played at a higher level than the 3rd tier.
They're also above us in the league.
So you're comparing apples and oranges. A better hypothetical, would be City in the top half of the championship despite a poor away record, still getting a great following. Which is exactly what we would get, if ever that scenario comes back around.
The one contingent who deserve nothing but praise, is our supporter base. In fact, we haven't been touch enough with the shit show we've endured over recent years.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Would you just praise them no matter how shit they were? It's healthy to show moderate disapproval so they're aware we're not happy, and it ought to motivate them more to improve.
If we just clapped and said well done after every 1-3 loss do you think they'd be as motivated to put it right?
If I was a player, and the people paying my wage were unhappy at the job I was doing, it would certainly motivate me to try harder next time, but if they were happy then it's easy for players to think they're putting in an acceptable showing. -

But you do make a good case and you're right about a lot of it I'm just not a fan of the attitude of our support this season it's very disappointing -
However not renewing your season ticket is not really likely to motivate a player.
It might on an accumulative basis deter future signings, if the club cannot offer competitive salaries, but on a day to day basis unlikely.
The thing that is most likely to motivate players is a shift from high standard salaries to a a greater proportion of income based on results. -

I rarely if ever have booed but is booing any worse than singing were fecking shit as quite a few in the atmosphere section did on Tuesday night?
Though I have chanted your not fit to wear the shirt a few times over the years. Always out of pure frustration though.
The recent years of shite on the pitch is now beginning to manifest itself as genuine discontent from the stands.
We were told its promotion this season and so far our form is more of a mid/lower table team. That's what is beginning to grate on a few, me included.
It's like buying a ticket to see the latest James Bond film but ending up seeing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

the season behind closed doors should have been 46 losses then.
are Sunderland a bunch of happy clappers? are Newcastle a bunch of happy clappers? I think not. -
I am into small and proportionate incentives. -

I don’t boo and thought it was crazy when Evans was booed coming on against Rochdale, that said Tuesday night if anyone bothered to stay to full time then I can’t blame them to much as long as it’s aimed at everyone not just an individual.
That said I’ve never booed as like on Tuesday when it’s that bad I’m well out of the door by full time, think I left after 70 again Bristol City under Parky. Earliest ironically I’ve left was a 4-0 win against Walsall when we had that freezing rain which I’d never seen before, left at half time after watching the first half on the concourse and warmed up at North Parade.Stop hovering to collapse... Can’t remember the year but we were 4-0 down at half time and we were sat in the temporary stand.
The other time was when we lost 5-0 under Grayson. -
23rd October 2018 was the last time l walked out mid game and that was on the 70th minute! Dreadful night.
-
Can anyone imagine anyone booing in the Bradford End and the end result?
That’s why it hardly ever happened from memory and when it did it was cut short rather quickly! -
