Is the booing towards the players... the management or both

I suspect its both but it's not the players fault they was brought in... maybe it's all they have to give

    Recent history suggests so

Comparing 2 very different eras there though to be fair, fan/player relationships are very different now.

Why….. .It’s the club one supports ,through thick and thin, even when the going gets tough.

    It wouldn’t have happened …simple.

I don't disagree or disbelieve anything you're saying - I'm not disputing what did or didn't happen on the terraces in the 60s and 70s, I'm talking topically about the issue of booing in 2021.

If you wish to live by 60s and 70s terrace rules in 2021, that's your choice and that's cool also - but if people want to boo if the team gets d*cked 1-3 at home to some utter dross who haven't scored in 8+ hours and not mustered a point away to Stevenage, Sutton, Barrow et al yet turn up at VP and score 3 whilst we play like a bunch then those paying fans are absolutely entitled to show their discontent.

You can agree or disagree with that, which is fine either way, but that's just how it is, "like it or not".

Hartlepool aren't utter dross though they're in the same division we are on merit so it's a bollocks argument. They outplayed us on the night

I remember being in the old Bradford End and I think we were losing 1-0 to Wrexham going into injury time. One of my mates let out an enormous 'Boo' and I can still recall the old boy next to us saying 'that doesn't help...and it hurts my ears!'
Oh, and we scored 2 goals in injury time and everybody went nuts :brig:

That would be Boxing Day 1977. Wrexham, who won the division that season, ran rings around us for 90 minutes, but failed to take their chances, leaving just enough time for us to sucker punch them twice in the last minute of injury time.

Unfortunately it didnt spark a turnaround in fortunes, as we went on to lose the next 7 matches and eventual relegation.

I think that is either option 2 or 3 you decide on your personal tolerance/threshold.

Not really as it isn't neccessarily the result. We can lose and it not be an issue but if we lose and we play like a set of donkeys that have never met before it is different.

Remember that game, been drinking in Bingley that day and was a chore (just considering going to VP under R&R) to leave Chip n Urn. Got to kick off a touch late, something I rarely do and was gone when Hiwulya scored the 4th(?) on about 70ish minutes. Got to the Record in good speed, well before the final whistle.

Yes unashamedly booed the shocking performance at Blackpool under "I'm a Championship manager" when we lost 5 - 0 and watched a gutless performance from a team who on the day weren't fit to wear the Claret & Amber of our club.

Think the booing on Saturday was due to a buildup of poor results.

What is it? No win in 6 now?
