BBC's 50 Greatest FA Cup Moments

They had a rolling item through the day of best individual performance you’ve seen live. I text in with Jon Stead from that game, referenced a great FA Cup shock and even said I saw myself on MOTD - didn’t make the feed.

To then see the 50 greatest FA Cup moments, and we’re not there...wound me up something chronic! Bloody BBC.

I'm more than happy with the comments that the likes of Robbie Fowler said on Match of the Day, asked if it was better than the Wimbledon win against Liverpool he said it had to be the biggest ever FA Cup shock, commenting that even at 2 - 0 down we were playing some great football never looking overawed against the then best team in the country and possibly Europe, I'll take those sort of opinions all day long.

 

I think I understand why we are so disappointed that our fantastic performance at Stamford Bridge did not appear
on the top 50 list.
I use BBC I player quite regularly and went to secure the programme today to watch at a convenient time having missed its original showing.
I noticed that the programme was made in 2014 and therefore could not include our game as it happened in Jan
2015.
I was ready to make maximum noise having expected the old BBC anti City attitude had hit us again.

Although I think it could have been clearer in the advance promotion of the programme we cant really get too uppity
as the dates dont work.
Perhaps we can persuade the beloved Beeb to do a 2020 update and revision to the list.

 

Stop bringing sensible and well researched answers to this forum....we all know that the BBC hate us....

 

I switched on as the countdown had reached 23. I watched the rest fully expecting to see us featured. After they got to No 1 they finished with a montage which included our fourth goal at Chelsea so I assumed we'd not made the top 23. If the programme had been made pre-Chelsea how come a clip of our fourth goal was shown?
