this misguided fans forum was just trying to take the heat out of their own positions, come next years season ticket sale time there will be another well placed fans forum telling you all the good stuff about budgets exciting targets, carefully revealed signings etc.

as someone else said, bit of humility would have been a much better approach, we've messed up , big mistakes were made and learned from.

If they did that the season ticket take up wouldn't drop significantly. Regardless of the hyperbole around at the moment, most of us just want the owner to show an interest. The fact he couldn't be bothered to show face last night, or indeed when Alexander had been recruited (GA admitted he hadn't spoken to the owner prior to the first press conference) tells me all i need to know about the direction of this club. Sad really because an ownership with vision could really push this club for the next generation. And with the demographic of this city changing quickly that next generation probably won't give a monkeys about the club.

There are interested parties looking at the club, thats a fact. But these parties look at other clubs and realise there is far better value elsewhere. Some don't get past the laughing stage apparently.

That’s not the impression I got, in fact the opposite. He WILL sell if the price is right. If we can’t get an understanding of what was said then we are well up the creek.

 

Sparks literally said that Rupp isn't actively looking to sell. I'd didn't say that he wouldn't, for the right price, but he's not pushing the agenda. He needs to be made to proactively seek a sale, which means getting on the front foot and being realistic about the asking price.

And the only way the needle moves in that direction is if he sees his 'sustainability'mandate threatened. Which means a material drop in ST sales.

Every club as a price! Every player has a price. Etc etc etc. Boycott ahead, Rupp has no ties to us, , it’s pocket money to him, that’s the danger with “ investors” buying clubs, if they can’t afford to lose it they don’t buy in the first place . It’s as simple as that. I keep saying it but we were going to learn nothing last night, in the same way you would get nothing out of the owner of any private company.
I don’t like it like the next supporter, inc you but face facts , last night was never going to be informative. I only learnt two things one was Walkers leg!
