Hopkin said 3-0 flattered Barnsley, don't get that. Flattered us more like, they could easily have got more I reckon.

In League's 1 and 2 allocated seating is ludicrous.

I much prefer to walk in and sit / stand where I want - a crowd of 4,000 and you've got those type of people who must sit in the exact seat their ticket says. BORING!

We are Bradford City and we all sit together like a big family!!

None of this excuse me, my auntie is sat there - can you please move.....? The answer is NO we all sit together. #CTID

    Yes, you’re correct.

We agree the allocation and pay upfront. All pre-sold tickets we sell, we are rewarded 5%. It’s common practise in the lower leagues.

Sunderland, Rochdale and Barnsley have seen us sell 6,800 pre-paid tickets....average cost price is circa £17 (or thereabouts) - meaning we coupe just under £6k - gross.

If we've sold best part of 3400 as Vin Weasel posted plus 350 then best part of 4000 going which is fantastic for a club barely out of the bottom 4 all season!! Great effort guys and girls!!!

Today highlighting two things so far

    1. Time for some fans to ditch this nonsensical talk of finishing top half or more ludicrously top 6, after a good run against some out of form teams.

    2. Hopkin still has lots of work to do, both in recruitment, and pulling off the great escape

Well, the disappointing thing for me today is we started with the wrong formation. If we'd gone in with the formation of the last couple of games I'd be more accepting but as it is it feels a bit disappointing

I hope Hopkin accepts his poor starting formation in the post match interview or I'll be even more disappointed.

This game was lost the minute Hopkin saw Barnsley on the fixture list, he was far too scared of them and the way we set up today was bizarre at best.

Barnsley showed how important pace is in this league, their two wingers and right back were the best players on the pitch, we have no pace in the squad at all.

Massive work this week needed in the window, still need 4 players and we can't keep going into games with such a weak bench, some urgency is needed now.

O'Connor in midfield, caddis RB and McGowan centre half, if akpan was out. No excuse for playing players out of position

Negative. Dinosaur tactics, playing people out of position to try and stop a good team doesn’t fecking work. Attacking good teams does though.

If you go with 3/5 at the back then the full/wing backs have to be solid, Playing one that is very weak on the left and one out of position on the right is suicidal, The defence had been the rock we had got 4 decent results from and to change it around and bringing a new player in to disrupt it contributed to the loss, Far from blaming individual players for mistakes made he should look at himself first because the major mistakes made yesterday were his

Playing Doyle upfront with Ball and Payne in behind, and keeping the ball on the deck, works well as we've seen in recent results.

Playing doyle upfront and playing hoofball so that Ball and Payne don't get a kick, like yesterday, is a waste of time.

Clearly at Rochdale it must've been dependent on where/when you got tickets. Ours had block, row and seat numbers on and we were told in no uncertain terms sit where your ticket says.

Away ends should be unreserved, reserved makes no sense. However clubs need to get out of this habit of selling some reserved and making POTD unreserved. It's all or nothing, completely reserved or completely unreserved. It's caused issues before and I've seen infighting between City fans previously, notably at Walsall and Oldham.

I remember it from when I first started going in the mid to early 90's. When the Kop was standing and the kids all sat on the barrier on the front! That was a mainly yellow shirt around then. Might have been admiral that made it. It had a claret lightening stripe down the sleeve IIRC. It was around the time Frank Stapleton and Lennie Lawrence were bosses.

EDIT: found it- its the 93-94 one sponsored by Freemans: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Bradford_City/Bradford_City.htm

    "Lee, Lee, Duxburrrrry"
    "PC Showler, PC Showler"
"Super, super Sean super, super, super Sean super, super, super Sean super, super Sean McCarthy" are a few other chants I hazily remember from around that time! :)

Just a heads up there is likely to be a round of applause on the 76th min tomorrow for a lifelong Barnsley woman who has passed away. City fans been asked to join in.

Don't normally believe stuff like this but my 7 year old son had a dream last night where we played in the black kit today and were 3-0 up 2nd goal was a own goal and 3rd goal Doyle headed across and he thinks ball scored then he woke up. If we do play in black rather than the blue kit i am getting myself to a bookies.

Looks defensive but I thought the same about the lineup against Rochdale and it was one of our most impressive attacking performances for years.

We looked lost. We looked lethargic compared to Barnsley. Which team had 10 days off?
Our recent form had been built on high energy pressing and winning the ball back quickly. We continued this in the first 15 minutes but after that their midfield picked up virtually all of the loose balls in midfield. OB Caddis and Payne were very quiet and never seemed to have the bell under control. We ended up pumping it to Doyle which didn’t work earlier in the season and nothing’s changed. poor day the office. O’Donnell was good thankfully. Ball put in a shift. The others were meh. And chicksen. Jesus. How do you get the wrong side of the goal for a straight ball played through the middle? He was awful and the red card put the cap on another abysmal performance from him.
    We need better.
