I personally would leave it to JB to decide if he wants to carry it on. -

When its something that has failed elsewhere and has killed the atmosphere in the stadium (You will not get a big cheer, you will get a small cheer and lots of booing of those cheering. And you also will have a situation beforehand where everyone is just waiting for it to happen) then people are entitled to not want involvedStop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Just look at the response to this on twitter for example, while some support it more are against it. The minute something divides the fanbase so much you have lost. You need something that brings the majority together otherwise its easy to ignore.
As a United fan since the Glazers took over, there has been a lot of the 'protests' (and even before with Murdoch trying to buy us) be it protests, setting up a new club, 'fan' takeover attempts via the Red Knights, a few plane banners etc ect and all have failed massively in what they tried to achieve. The one thing that had the biggest impact is one of the simplest that didn't impact anything onfield either directly or indirectly and which had the most fan participation and that was the whole 'Green and Gold' campaign. It allowed the fans to express their views without impacting the players while it was a really visible act that was fairly cheap to setup and could be done long-term. It also didn't really achieve anything (although did force a year long process of designing a new strip to be cancelled as they were going to do a Green and Gold Newton Heath kit before that started and couldn't obviously have the club seeming to support getting the Glazers out)Stop hovering to collapse... Targets been met. What's the plan now

So if it splits fans what's really to lose? -
Besides, he hasn’t been banned per se. He has simply been blocked from ‘contributing’ to this thread. Nothing wrong in that. This is the first step that fans have made to ‘voice’ their concerns. Protests were planned and never happened. So the basis of kick-starting action with a fly-over banner is a great idea. But then you have those that simply won’t back it and make excuses as to why.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
