Hi Steeton. I understand this started on Friday 6 September and there have been a total of 3 draws so far (4th due on 27 September). However, there is no record of the draws or whether the prizes were won (or rolled over).

 

and yet you still agreed to enter knowing all this already

 

I had sort of assumed that before launching such a scheme they might have an idea how to implement it.

 

I got sent a letter confirming I'm a member, but it didn't tell me when the draws were, how often, or how I might check the outcome.


it's amateur really. much like most things the club try and turn their hand to.

 

silly me, I thought they might have all their ducks in a row and had worked out how to do this correctly. I don't know what posessed me to think that.

 

Still can't believe you thought that this would be thought out beforehand, that they would do a draw and announce the results!!

 

I signed up for this at the launch of the away kit, no money has been taken from my account.

I got a phone call on Friday asking if I would be interested in the lottery. Told him I'd be more interested if he checked his records to see that I'd already signed up. Went through the old 'are you sure?' malarkey, then he tried selling me an extra sub, needless to say I declined. Am sure the intentions are there but so far it ain't great.

 

There are so many inconsistencies and contradictions in that article, it’s so amateurish.

“Weekly rollover of £250”.. followed by “guaranteed £150 a week”?

“Money-can’t-buy prizes” - what are they? Do they even know?!

“First draw early September” - it’s October tomorrow.

Completely embarrassing.

if anyone can sort this shambles out and get clear information to us it's him. he's a good bloke.

 

£120 a year and no draws. City are more intelligent than we give them credit for.

 

As I understand it, all UK Lotteries have to be licensed by the Gambling Commission and are very tightly regulated, this one sounds a shambles.
