Bantams Heritage

Hi City fans.

Hopefully this is in the right part of the forum, but just wanted to make you aware of something City-related that we're hopeful will take off in the coming weeks and months.

For over a year, we've been collating and recording the stats of every single footballer to have played a competitive game for City since formation in 1903, with the hope of eventually awarding them all a unique heritage number, ordered by the time in which they made their professional debut for the club.

That project is now complete, and is available to view at BantamsHeritage.com. However, as well as the heritage numbers - which we hope will be eventually embroidered onto the shirts of current squad members further down the line with help from the club - we're trying to become the go-to place for stats and records to do with the Bantams.

So BantamsHeritage.com is going to grow into an all-encompassing look into the history of the club, with the help of our Twitter account, @BantamsHeritage. It'd be great if any City fans interested in the history of the club can give us a follow (apologies for the shameless plug).

We're hopeful that in the New Year, we can grow to hold events and functions with former players where not only will they be awarded their heritage certificates, but will be able to share fantastic memories of what it meant to play for this great club.
