Not a ground we have a lot of luck at, Not am easy game, They seem to break quick and have pace the 2 things that 3 at the back is prone to

Sad to think back last time I went to Oldham was the Wembley season, late winner from a McArdle header. Freezing but a great day out, how we’ve fallen. They’re quite a poor team but we’re worse, I just hope we can show up and scrape something.

 

Cannot see anything but defeat at Oldham sadly. Rowe and McAleny will be far too good for our defence. Once again it will be down to O'Donnell to keep the score down

Depressing times

 

3.0 as per normal service at Boundary Park. Hopefully history to repeat itself if that happens and we persuade Stuart to walk away (note I haven't said sack him as I don't wish that on him). In reality we will wait until the window slams shut on 1st Feb and his last minute signings haven't played, as we always do.

Their home record is terrible W 1. D1 L6 and yet they have a great away record. I’m certain that they will improve their home record on Saturday Oldham 2-0 City. Stu to get stroppy in after match interview with Jamie and ask him if he could do any better and that he hopes to have Guthrie back soon and that will change everything.

 

If we come away pointless then I am hoping the Oldham away curse (blessing?) strikes again and Stuart either walks or is removed. He ran out of sentiment with me long ago, Legend & Hero as a player but as manager he has more than outstayed his welcome.

 

Not sure about 4 - 0 but unfortunately I don't think we will leave with any points.

 

Agree we always need to keep our sense of humour.

 

With Novak and perhaps Evans back, we could end up with a result. I do rate Novak and firmly believe he can get us goals providing we do provide for him.

 

Novak certainly adds more to the team than The Don, but you know he will start on the bench and only come on when we have sent one of their to the infirmary and they have sent one of ours to the morgue. That's the "Chicago (McCall) Way".as Sir Sean once said.

 

Can't see us scoring, and can't see us not conceding at least one, so 2-0 Oldham for me.
