What a set of absolute tossers Colchester have 3 players 1 for Malta 1 for Monserrat and one for Ghana (sorry if the spelling is not right) I rang the EFL regarding why give permission to cancel a game in this div with no compassion for the Dedicated supporters, there is no protection whatsoever for supporters who make prior arrangements like myself that will have 2 pre paid hotel rooms empty in Colchester and for the supporters that have paid for pre paid train tickets, the one sure thing is, it has given me a lesson in not pre paying hotel rooms with no amendable booking. I also rang Colchester FC to voice my disappointment which of course fell on deaf ears and trying to get my pre paid parking of £6 back is a joke they want me to go midweek and they will save my place in the car park I won’t publish what my reply was. The only one that I got some common sense from was at the Ticket office BCFC Shaun who said he would sort a refund on my tickets he also agreed that less than two weeks before the fixture should not be allowed to be cancelled and is unacceptable from a supporters point of view.

 

Absolutely ridiculous rule from the EFL/FA/Whoever and as usual it is the fans who will suffer (hotels, travel, other plans etc pre-booked)

So if your team is on it's knee's with over half of the first team out injured, you still must fulfil the fixture. But a couple of fringe players get called up for nonsense friendlies by 2-bit countries and the game is cancelled, likely to be rescheduled for a Tuesday night. Great commonsense is that(!)

Just heard this on Radio Leeds while decorating for Mrs Rocket who is out for lunch with mates. So they have three players on international duty. Maybe a good thing for the our injured players to get back,not so good for the current team who in mho need to keep playing and winning.Points in the bag are what we need lets hope we dont end up with a fixture pile up.

 

A cold Tuesday night in Colchester what's not to love about that.
Fordy will see this as another failure by the club by getting a fixture congestion later in the season.

 

It will be on a cold Tuesday or Wednesday night. Not the clubs fault this but hopefully it will be rearranged for early next year when it benefits us more.

 

How's that of benefit.

Better of training and working on sharpe & set play.

Like most posters on here, really pissed off with this, I was planning a week away with the missus taking in the Colchester game, a few days in the Isle of Wight then down to Devon for the Plymouth game.
All out of the window now because of a few 2 bit waste of time friendlies.
Just glad I had delayed my bookings for various hotels and ferries.

 

Coach tickets and match tickets aquired weeks ago. Game off well it's the last time I pay in good time.
Still awaiting Macclesfield date same applies as above.
Gutted and annoyed.

 

I was under the impression the likes of Reeves needed game time, the very thing he could get under our conditioning/fitness coaches supervision not out on loan, as you say no pleasing some.

 

Hope it's a better result than our last midweek game at Colchester that was beamed back to Valley Parade.
