A premier league WUM, the other WUMs on here are tedious in comparison, they can’t hold a candle to @Fordy117, so for all those who moan about him or tell him to support someone else, be careful what you wish for, the site would be a much duller place without him!

 

There's a mentality about winners and the way fans think about results. You sum yesterday's game up well and the mentality can be gauged two ways. You can look at as a point gained against what apparently is a decent side. Or you can say it was 2 points dropped against a team with 6 newcomers who have lost their best player last week. I hope Adams sees it as two points dropped because in my opinion is that's what it was. Exeter were there for the taking at times in that game, we didn't have the quality in the team to take advantage. Put it this way, the team that wins more of those games like yesterday than draws them will get promoted.

 

Some need to remember we're in division 4 where quality is hard to find unless you throw a massive wage their way.

Very true, I've watched football for over 50 years and have never known a team be awarded the title or win promotion on that first day. The most startling thing about this post is we have had nine promotions and seven have been in my lifetime, yet someone on here was writing our chances of going up this year off because we have only been promoted once this centuary.

 

Boris has left it up to the individual and it looks like the club would rather fans wore a mask but won't be able to enforce it. Personally I will be wearing my Bradford City mask but that is my personal choice. We all have different views on life and the pandemic, which is why this forum works so well.

You can phone the City ticket office to buy one and they will bring the tickets down on the team bus and leave yours at the ticket office to collect at the ground.

I've done it a few times, they usually just ask for a driving licence or something with your name on when collecting it.

 

Back to the Exeter match I see they have turned down big offers for two of their players this week one of them the right back was for a million.
Last season they were very good going forward and scored a lot of goals but conceded a few as well and they have a good manager as well so the longest trip of the season will be tough it usually is down there.
Adams has some good selection problems not least if Song’o is fit will be good if we can bring something back from there

Thoroughly looking forward to watching this from the sunny Canaries, cocktail in hand.

Tough start though, will be a step up from what we've had to do in pre season. I have no idea what to expect in terms of starting XI.

 

Just as well, my satnav always wants me to go that way, it’s slightly less miles but personal preference is M69 as it’s one of the last Mways you can get your toe down on without worrying about cameras or Mr Plod!!

 

Hornby for O'Donnell. Has to be for me. Only saw the Blackburn friendly but comparing the 2 keepers, Hornby made the least errors (if any) whilst O'Donnells kicking, commanding and decision making were poor. I get the feeling that Adams will go for Hornby based on the 11 he's been played with.

 

They have a couple of injuries as well but experience tells you beware
