And this is what the travelling fans thought of it while the non travellers simply shut their laptops down and settled down for their tea.

I don’t agree with the abuse they’ve had tbh, they were shit though for us no doubt about it. Fair play they’re doing well for you but you’re bottom 8 league 2, we signed them when we were supposed to be going for the championship it’s a different level. Didn’t think they’d be capable of football league at all though so credit to them for knuckling down and improving.

Patrick probably gets abused as in our relegation season we lost a game 5-0 and he put lol on Twitter.

Shutting down my laptop and settling down for my tea was the highlight of my day.

I wonder what our 'proud custodian' thought of today?

Or is he not arsed while he eats his bratwurst and sauerkraut and takes 300k a year as a consultant.

He's fine popping up and declaring us his hero and custodian when someone actually interested in owning a football team wants to buy us, but he'll sure as shit be quiet when we underperform AGAIN under his ownership

He's an absolute blight on this club and I wanted to throw my phone out the window when I saw some people saying they'd rather have him than the WAGMI lot.

RUPP OUT or we rot in L2 and lower til the end of time

Normally I'm very relaxed in defeat because under under the failure that is Rupp I expect no less. Under Rupp we will NOT get promotion.

But I was very very vocal in my displeasure tonight.

All of the ex-Bradford players you’ve got have been part of failed teams here so I think there’s just no love lost for them.

Callum Guy did well for us in a poor side when on loan and Danny Devine was a neat and tidy player on whom opinion was mixed. Devine was a nice kid but was here ages and never cemented a spot. Many City fans want to see him do well.

Patrick was a funny one. He scored a worldie for us, got offered a longer contract by the mad German CEO at the time, but never kicked on. His attitude was never bad and one summer he returned bulked up and clearly had worked hard in the gym, but he found his level on loan at Wrexham in the National League I thought. Seems like he’s done okay for you though, without being prolific. I was surprised he got a move to League One.

Mellor came with a bit of a reputation but was a defensive liability for us in a terrible side. We couldn’t wait to get shut. He’s better than our current RB though, which says plenty.

Gibson was keen and had a good attitude but he often took the wrong option on the ball and failed to take his chances here. He tried too hard at times I felt. As others have said, his dad annoyed people on Twitter, bigging him up to start (as any father would In fairness) but he never cut it and needed to leave our club to get game time.

Riley signed on supposed big wages (mad German splashed the cash again when here) and had a decent reputation given his time at Man Utd. He got a long term injury though and we got no value for money (wages wise) from him by the time he left.

I can’t say i was disappointed any of them left, but fair play to them doing well for you. Sometimes a change of scenery helps players doesn’t it.

He’s clearly not arsed while us loyal fans fall for the bullshit that Sparks is told to feed us every pre-season.
There’s a fan forum on Tuesday so wouldn’t this be the perfect time to hear from the horses mouth where we are heading as a club.
Sparks is no mug when it comes to communication and anybody who thinks he doesn’t read this forum is deluded. He’ll know the animosity and ill feeling is mounting and the most devout happy clappers are starting to turn as well.
Let’s hear what proper structured plan is in place to move the whole club forward and not just a few sound bites to sell season tickets.
There are at least 4 flights from various German cities into Manchester airport before lunchtime on Monday.
I would expect these to cost £150 max.
Add a covid test,a couple of nights in a decent hotel and the flight home and your probably looking at about a grand.
This is a small price to pay to prove you mean what you said about righting the wrongs from previous mistakes.
And I don’t want to hear no shite about how hard travel is with covid. It’s perfectly doable if you want to.
When you own a football club and the majority of your fan base is turning against you the least you can do is put yourself out a bit from your other major interests and attend the odd game and see for yourself what the club has become under your tenure.
I suspect the grand cost mentioned earlier “hasn’t been budgeted for” but I’m sure we can divert some funds from the hand dryer fundraising efforts.
Or alternatively Rupp could dip in his very large wallet, fund the trip himself and tell us face to face how he’s going to get OUR club out of the massive shitheap that him and his puppets at the club have gotten it into.

Neither Patrick or Gibson did enough to warrant keeping on at the club, Gibson ended up scraping the barrel in Ireland before getting a gig at that massive metropolis of football that is Carlisle. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Considering the shit Rupp gets off me included, I’d have a huge amount of respect for the man if he actually turned up to one of these events. More chance of me winning the euro millions next week and buying him out like.

For those championing Cooke as a leading attacking midfielder, he was and has been a total let down when asked to play in a midfield with Watt. He can't tackle, control the first ball or score goals. We are desperately lacking a dominant midfielder and it's an absolute disgrace that this position hasn't been addressed under numerous managers since Parky and Stuarts first return. I too am struggling to see what Adams is trying to achieve with his set up. We seem so easy to counteract and today I can only think covid recovery has has an impact on fitness because we were chasing shadows. I'll be there on Tuesday and if given the opportunity I won't hold back.

It will be interesting how they structure it on Tuesday.
Will it be pre-submitted questions only that they can cherry pick and then a bit of an open floor situation or just pass the microphone round from the off and let’s go for it.
I’m not convinced that it will be as open as most hope it will be.
I’m slightly nervous that it won’t go ahead at all.
Covid restrictions could be their friend.
After today Sparks must be very nervous about what will be asked and will realise that straight batting answers with “promotion is still the aim” won’t wash with the majority any more.
I’m on nights in Wales on Tuesday but I’ll be glued to my phone while the other lads crack on with the real work.

I can see @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler dancing in the crowd. Great moves!

Wonder what excuses are going to come out from my mate today?

We going to admit Adams is failing and needs to go to yet? Z

Sparks is out of his depth and needs to resign?

Rupp needs to sell up and feck off?

Our we all just going to dance about?

Stop being so hysterical Fordy! It may be one of the answers, you know an answer so out of touch with supporters but easier to deflect the problems onto supporters, than the club itself.

    Rupp out.

    Up early too mate?.

It's hard to know where we go from here until someone buys out Rupp. Problem is that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Had a chat with Mark Lawn a couple of weeks ago, he wishes he had the money Rupp has and he would come back in a heartbeat and sort this mess out.

As for Sparks, talks a good game doesn't he, but he is out of his depth here in my opinion.

Adams has been a major disappointment for me. I know he inherited some right crap but he is also responsible for bringing in crap too. His footballing 'sons' Threlkeld and Songo'o prime examples.

Cannot see Rupp or Sparks pulling the plug on Adams though, Sparks specifically will insist on backing him to save himself the embarrassment of appearing to make yet another poor manager appointment.

Only that season under Taylor when we flirted with relegation to non league have I felt so disenchanted with a City management team and players.

Woke up early mate. Watching Bradford City today gave me nightmares.

Sparks is a fool if he continues to back Adams. I gave Sparks credit for going to get the man he felt would take us up this season but it’s just not working out and Sparks because he is a novice out of his depth in a key footballing role has allowed Adams to coming and bully him. Sparks isn’t equipped to be CEO of Bradford City and urgently needs to resign for the good of the club.

Rupp is a disgrace of an owner but if Sparks resigns then he might have to wake up a bit and find his own man. Rups’s appointments have been lazy because he doesn’t care but he will have to care. For the good of the club Sparks needs to go!

Lawn and Rhodes must regret selling the club to Rupp & Edin from a football point of view but I keep saying Rupp is worse than Edin but we all just dance about, Rupp was always the man with money but never the man that was interested. Shame really but he needs to get out of the club fast!!

As for Adams, he just needs to go. It’s so not working out here for him. Needs to be at a club with low expectations. Failing badly here.

I was all for Adams but that no show second half is very worrying indeed ....... thought we would have torn into them but nothing at all and let’s forget this is a poor team that we are where up against ............ last weeks win just papered over the cracks but yesterday was as bad as I’ve seen since last season
