Turned the radio off after a hour as we had visitors. Couldn't even be bothered to check the result until 6pm.

I take it we got worse as the game went on then.

 

1 in the last 6 games at home I've been. I don't enjoy it whilst I go away, trying to enjoy the experience

 

Adams has had success elsewhere. And I don't want to have a new manager come in, again.

But he's pissing me off. Playing Kelleher when we've got Staunton? Theres a string a daft interviews and bizarre decisions. Late subs, constantly. F*ck off.

 

The gap between what Adams SAYS he's plotting and planning his players to achieve on the pitch and what they actually do in reality is now becoming an amazing disconnect. Apart from players he's worked with before, Adams seems to have lost the dressing room. Vernam's comments after the match were telling.

Nah, i was waiting on '' we're not even looking at the table yet, way too soon'' for a full house.

 

It falls into the same state as so many of the recent seasons
It becomes a “chore” rather than an enjoyment.
All the build up and anticipation is gone.
I go because I’ve always gone rather than because I want to go.
I know for sure that if I go on Saturday it will be alone as the wife watched that with me today and no way will she fancy a cold afternoon in BD8 over an afternoon at home in the warm awaiting me coming home and telling her how sh!t it was.
Sad sad times at the club we all love.

 

The thing that stands out to me about Adams is that not one single player has shown any improvement under his coaching. When we went to Park Avenue at the start of the season we were quite impressed with their "physical presence". We looked like we might have a team. Maybe that was down to having not seen the players "live" for such a long time. But it has become very clear that Adams coaching has bettered not one of them. Indeed the regime probably compounds the injury list. So thats the key: you can have a poor group of players but there is usually the odd one that benefits from the Coach and comes to the fore. But not this lot not under Adams.

All of these players need to go before this club will make any headway. And Adams too. Hes not the right man for this club, seems to delight in rubbing the fans up the wrong way and the football in some of the worst I have seen City play in pushing 50 years now. Yes we have spent much of that period in the bottom two leagues but even so we had players; legends ! who played for the shirt and played well at their level too.

Not this lot under this manager. Lose Saturday v Salford and Sparks has got to show some back bone and bring to a close yet another lousy period for this club. I dont want Adams bringing in more garbage players to add to the garbage we already have. I dont want Trueman or Kiwomya either for that matter. To me Michael Flynn would be a safe call; knows the club; knows the league and has a decent reputation for the football his team plays. We should not spend any longer with Adams hes not for this club and Sparks has got to man up; come out of the bunker and bring his whole sorry tenure to its end.

 

Only to offer my opinion to the "players and manager".

 

I hear there’s a manager at this level who’s expedited relative success on a small budget, is a motivational and engaging character and has a connection to the club.
Mr M Flynn would you like to come along?

 

It won’t be, the likes of Park and that whopper Jay on Twitter will lap up what ever Sparks says. More likely to be cancelled for some unforeseen event or the get out of jail free card, Covid.

 

Anyone really shocked we lost today? Forget that win last week against Barrow, we were garbage that game as well, goals just papered over the cracks.

 

Six of today’s starting eleven, seven if you include Cook, joined the club after Adams. That side has his finger prints on it and he cannot hide from it.

 

It's bad enough I'm just about to start a 12 hour shift, cheers City, another Saturday night ruined!

 

Yes. I thought it might be another draw!

 

Sadly won't happen the club(and a section of fans) have fallen hook line and sinker in the blind belief that Mr Adams is some kind of Messiah and just because he got Ross County promoted and Morecambe promoted in a season when 90% of L2 including ourselves decided survival was the priority HE ISNT
Mr Sparks has all but handed the running of the club over to him his weakness in allowing him to change the whole ethos of the club and deciding which non playing personnel to hire and fire ensures the only way Mr Adams will leave is if the club is sold and all 3 are made surplus to requirements (don't hold your breath on that one)
Its a sad self inflicted situation and am struggling to see a way out

 

Everyone in a leadership position at the club bar the manager has done this for years now. Wont ever forget how quick rupp and rahic got onto the pitch at fleetwood

 

I know what I'm asking. It will revolve around how the fans can have any confidence in the long term vision of the owner or CEO when there apparently is no long term vision.

 

I gave this a like Bailiff because I so share your 'unlike' thoughts about these sad sad times at the club we all love. Have supported for 50 years and in that time we've gone through some dreadful times - and those fleetingly wonderful ones. But I can't feel as bad as I do now. Because we've been promised so much over the past five years and it's all been bullshit. The Great Friendly Giant might have eventually put us near out of business in the end, but he gave us our greatest days and what a giddy exciting hot passionate journey that was. Now we are chillingly cold. A cold remote owner. A cold remote manager. Cold players - literally and metaphorically - who 'claim' passion for the club but so often show little of it on the pitch or beyond it, unless it's for a propaganda sound bite. It's become freezing out here, apart from the fans. The only people who keep the heartbeat of Bradford City going.
