I was looking at some photos of us at away games in 1976/77. There is one of outside Brentford's ground, on one of them there is me, Carol, her aunt and a blonde lady I suddenly realised was the then City manager Bobby Kennedy's wife. She worked at Grattan with Carol's aunt. We were unbeaten at home that season, happy days.

 

Its the right call not sure his wages would be a big saving to the club, the more I see happening under Ryan the more I'm liking the lad.

 

Sparks certainly impressing so far, along with the management team.

Not messing about trying to get rid of the deadwood and early moves in the window

 

Good news, the lad clearly isn't ready for professional football. Hopefully that means we're close to bringing in a striker.

Agree entirely.Unfortunately the club failed to tell Samuels what the club line was about his signing and he told the truth.Found about our interest the morning after scoring against us.

That's what really annoyed me about his signing, the deceit involved. Frankly, we as supporters were lied to and Stuart went down a long way in my estimation after that.

 

Me too, my Dad took me to BPA from 1962 till they went out of the league. The girl who became my wife got me started with City in 74/75.

Just too raw for both ours and his needs right now. His appearance against Tonbridge was decent and took his goal well. Also thought he played well at Crawley away. However the situation he found himself in our depleted squad, horrible form and poor management - matched with just simply not looking quite ready for this level just now, means this is definitely the best decision all round.

Hope for him he can get the Coaching and experience he needs and can push on his career.

Now excited to see what we have prepared to replace him.....

 

Painfully out of his depth unfortunately. Glad we’ve been proactive and sent him back. I’ve been highly critical of Sparks but I’ll be the first to admit he’s starting to make a positive impact since sacking McCall, some very good decisions since. Long may it continue!

 

we've ditched the 6 piece Peppa Pig jigsaw which the kids have chewed on so the pieces don't fit and have purchased an adult jigsaw

 

Not sure about 'Adult'. But we've probably progressed to 13 years and above.
