attendance

The official attendance on my couch last night was 2. However, one ST holder (Junior HendrieFC went footie training and then to the pub). But for HMRC purposes, let's say 2.

As per HSE would expect ............ Attendance is surely those at the actual game ? Whilst HMCR need to be informed, so do HSE, from two entirely different perspectives, and obviously differing results.

The solution ?
For HMRC, Att = ST's + other ticket sales. ?
For HSE, Att = The total count of Turnstile entries.

With todays technology, surely both can be run by a post 2K derived computer ?

I can’t understand why it bothers people so much. The figure they give out is the number of tickets sold for the match. What’s wrong with that

 

Sorry Park, but it would appear the only people interested in actual sales, is HMRC. So hence why it 'bothers' so many. The true figure would also reflect any atmosphere, and the importance of a game, etc. Hope you don't mind me saying ?

I never buy anything from the kiosks because its vastly over priced, but they must have seen a huge drop in takings last night, beer, pop, etc they can hope to sell at the next home game but alot of the pies must have ended up in bin

 

they actually ran out of steak pie in the 2013 suite last night, a shit game i can deal with but this is a step too far EDIN OUT

 

Yes Ronnie, attendance and income don't need to be linked at all. As long as we declare all income hmrc they really don't need to know how many were in the ground on a given day, but from a h&s standpoint it's vital.

In what way in case of an emergency are they going to count them out. Makes no difference to health and safety

 

Imagine on 11/5/85 there had been 300 more in the stand than the attendance said and no one ever accounted for them. Of course it matters.

 

They didn’t run out of chips though. There were loads left when we left at full time. Selection of pies too

 

No one was counting people out on that day. People left by an exit possible. Some hung around some left straight away. No one was taking note of exact numbers

 

With due respect that is rubbish. The only time the attendance figures matter is if the ground is over full
