    I think most have accepted that our season has come to nothing but a mid table finish ?
    NO - I'm not going through the why's and wherefors. :)
    Since the close of C&B, and the great traffic on here ......... I've noticed ONE thing, above all. The Banter still remains, and let's hope it continues. Yes, we can debate issues, but we must keep a focus on things we can change, and those we cannot. So debate, but not argue or be bitter. We missed the Bus ....... There'll be another one, OK.
    I hope we can keep the goodwill for more than a few weeks, or else we'll be just like our team, and stop performing as best we can, #Bantamsfamily. ;)

    As seasons go it could have been a whole lot worse, could've spent a shitload on players and got relegated like Bury or on the flipside could've been a whole lot better, we could have done a Burton or Shrewsbury and carried on punching above our weight all the way to the championship.

    However we are where we are and barring a miracle where we'll be next season. Having taken so many steps forward in recent years a step back was maybe due.
    Just as long as the next step is forwards eh?

    Now we have missed out on the playoffs I kind of find my anger and frustration has reduced. Maybe accepetance of our position has set in. I was more angry as we free fell out of the top four like a skydiver desperatly pulling on his ripcord and nothing happening. Now we've landed safely in the haystack I kind if have a sense of calm. Strange.

    That calm will last if Grayson stays as manager, but if he leaves then that leads to quite a bit of uncertainty.

    Not that I think Grayson is exceptionally good, but he clearly has a vision of what he wants to do here. He has had success in the past, and I think he will give us a type of football we enjoy. It might not be the prettiest, but players will be getting stuck in and that doesn't half lift the VP crowd.
