    I'm sure the 'MODS' will move this to a relevant section, if needed. ;)

    SO ...... ARE they doing their duty effectively ? Serious question, because we as a Forum have seen 'double standards'. Whether the MODS agree or not.

    For me, a MOD should always remain impartial, and also consider each post individually. There is evidence to show that this isn't happening.

    Please don't ask for examples, for just as sure the MODS don't give a damn, neither do I. But it's not my call, is it ?

    These MODS are, I believe, volunteers, NOT elected. I see some are from the previous regime, so I imagine have the same very limited mind set ?

    IF this Forum is to grow, and prosper, perhaps it's time for @king karl@king karl to invite votes for 'trusted' members, not those who 'think' they know best. (They WILL be disappointed ;) )

    I know is a tough subject to broach, but it threatened the future of the club - and the memories of that do contribute to the overly cautious approach some take when discussing the running and the future of the club.

    There might be something in that, but I'd say the reaction then was more "We'll rebuild, we'll be back." For those of us who were already adults at the time, the memories of financial difficulties of the then-recent past, combined with the memories of such troubles subsequently, might play more of a role. I'll speak only for myself now, but I think that age also plays a role -- I am certainly more cautious in things now, in my mid-50s, than thirty years ago. One is just so much more aware of how things can go wrong...and so one probably over-compensates now on the side of caution.

    I think the Mods do alright on here. I appreciate the time they give so that this forum is, broadly, a decent place to visit.

    As forum members, we have a responsibility to adhere to the rules and I'd also say a role in keeping it friendly.
