Witnesssd a very worrying scene at the front of the Kop at the end. Charlie face down at the left of the goal on the edge of the pitch ! The St John's guys idled over and eventually were giving him First Aid with others gathered around him.

I worry about Dear Charlie "features heavily" in official club photography yet often vilified and banned numerous times by club ?. Seemed like "a metaphor" for the season one of our most recognisable fans alarmingly collapsed face down on the Valley Parade pitch at the end of it all. But it's clear how game after game he works himself up into a lather and this must affect his health ?

Has any one any update on his well being ?

Pissed or a cerebral aneurysm after years of shouting bollocks until he’s frothing at the mouth would be my bet. Still, I don’t wish him I’ll.

Haha funniest thing ive seen all season, he tried to get onto the pitch with the other scroats and lost his footing and went face first.. he’s fine, his lunacy continued shortly after.. he’s a danger to himself and others and should be banned for his own well-being.

Yesterday was an embarassment, grown men with their chavy burberry cap wearing kids trying to get onto the pitch after a relegation.. this is how low this club has stooped... thanks a lot Edin you Bar Steward!

I wonder if the fall knocked any sense into him?

I reckon he's had plenty of falls with the state he gets into.... doesn't seem to have worked so far.

i love the bloke to bits but he's a proper danger at football games. More passion than anyone i've ever met but also sups ale like a camel drinks water. An explosive but also very amusing mix. Be a sad day when i don't see him at City games anymore.

Not sure how this is Edins fault. Charlie has been the same for decades as have a small section of our fans.

Someone said it was those from K block upstairs in the kop that had come down

    And yet Hanson didn’t score.

Before I left, I heard them chant some bollox about going on the pitch if Hanson scores. He didn’t yet they still did. Mindless, chavvie tw@ts

There was a pic of him in the Barracks pub after the game. He’s alright (well, as alright as he can be).

Believe it or not Charlie goes jogging on a Saturday morning along Bell Dean Road / Thornton Road.

Can be reasonably level headed at that point (before undoubtedly going on to sink copious booze)
