Don't get you. I'm consistently fair minded and don't think that acts of incompetence are a slur on society and the guilty should never been forgiven

After the farce of last summer, I agreed that Rahic had to go, but refused to support the rather 17th century 'off with their heads' sentence some of you wanted for him. Christ!! Some of you are still moaning on about him (hello ricc) - in life you need to move on.

Using your and Ricc's attitude, I should refuse to talk to people who were openly racist back in the 70's, even though it's clear that they regret their actions. What good does it ever do, to carry all this resentment? None!!

I look at it two ways.

He must be giving something positive to survive that shambles of last year and still be in place this year. Maybe he is just a really cheap and a good coach and support member aka Steve Mclaren (never a decent manager in a million years apart from is super Dutch accent)

 

I agree he should have gone long ago.........and yet he is now part of a coaching team that has us second in the league.....not sure what to think now

 

That we have a manager who knows what he is doing. Hopkin and Drury were advising the players " whilst we are in possession make sure you are marking a man. So if we lose the ball we can't be attacked" Never heard such ridiculous training sessions as what Hopkin and Drury were setting up last season. Hopkin seemed a really odd bloke as well. Came across in his football.

 

so maybe, being devil's advocate, Drury is a number 2 and is actually quite good at carrying out the managers instructions

What have I said that makes you think I've got some inside knowledge? I said the armband thing was Drury's making IN MY OPINION. I said I SUSPECTED Drury had an input into the stitching excuse. It's conjecture, I don't know and never claimed to. It's like 95% of the posts on here - people offering their take on the facts as they are presented. Good god, most posters confidently inform us what every player is earning - why don't you have a go at them.

All well and good when we're at the right end of the league though, it's easy to show character when you're first choice and winning games.

For me the crunch will come once we've either been on a poor run or perhaps been promoted and find ourselves at the wrong end the season after.

You can change your mind as often as you wish, that's your prerogative. It does seem premature though considering the complete reversal of the situation the team finds itself in.

Me? Im going to give it longer than 3 months in a relatively successful team before revising my opinion.
