Another good article by Bowyer

Fine words, I just hope we can back it up this season.

 

Perhaps, Dave ............. OR - Is he using his recent sports qualification, and just thinking like a fan, rather than being one ? Either way - If City benefit, then great news for everyone !

 

Liked him and backed him from day one.

Love his ideas and philosophy for the club.

I hope he is here as long, if not longer than Parky.

 

I think it is a good article. He is portraying a high level of optimism with a good deal of realism, I like the quote “you don’t always get what you want”, what he is saying is yes we would like to get off at a gallop, but we might not, and our run might come later. He is also saying we the fans have a role to play, in getting behind the team even if we lose. I don’t expect to see what we did last season as he has been careful in selecting characters.

I personally think we need 2/3 more players, two good midfielders and a young striker.

 

Not a fan just wily enough to realise he needs the fans on board.

 

In an ideal world I agree but unless we lose one or two it isn’t going to happen I bet you could go round all league two clubs and they would say exactly the same. It’s about managing well and hoping for a bit of luck with injuries which after the last couple of years we are due

 

Every other club in this division will be envious of our strike force. Strikers get paid more because they win marches. The defence looks decent too. I’m thinking we will sign another couple on loan for midfield. Chances of O’Brien coming back on a season loan

 

Maybe not a fan per se but he has stated that he loves it here and that comes across loud and clear.

 

I think he is an astute man. Certainly gone on the charm offensive big style to get the fans back on side.

His honeymoon period is over so looking at how he is going about business in player recruitment has definitely pleased me.

What I saw at the Wigan game for the first 60 mins showed me he has now got a team that will fight for the ball and each other.

 

Very encouraged by all things Bowyer so far. Seems to understand the fans and whats required to get us out of this division. I really hope we get off to a good start so he gets a bit of credit in the bank for the most important thing, the results.

 

It's time to stop talk and deliver Bowyer.

Now it's all about the results. Last season didn't count AT ALL, despite the desperate dismissive nonsense of certain posters (Fordy springs to mind), so it's clean slate time - With all the good work done in the transfer market and the PR department, hopefully the players are fully bought into Bowyer's plans and we get off to a flyer.
