    It's been reported that Andre Wisdom , former City youth team player as been stabbed and robbed this evening . He was stabbed getting out of his car in the Toxteth area of Liverpool , he is currently in hospital . Hope he's ok and makes a full recovery.

    Unfortunately, he was stabbed in the head in a street robbery a couple of years ago when he was with Derby. He never fully recovered and had some form of lung issue. As a result, he never fully regained his strength and speed and despite trials with a couple of decent teams, he was never offered a contract. And now he's dropped down to the NL as part of a bid to regain his fitness. Good luck to him.
