He didn’t say, very diplomatic. He is building team cohesion and confidence, difficult to say publicly about current players leaving as it might disrupt team building. From what I heard I think the team are a million miles away from last year and they are feeling positive, all good. Clayton Donaldson, good vibes from him, looks and sounds like a leader. O’Donnell lots jokes and good personality. Shay, sounds positive and repeated what he said about positivity around the place. Scanz is the shy one, lol.

GB said he was happy with all his signings, and they are all good lads and wanted to play for Bradford City, the volume and passion of the city faithful was a driving force in recruitment, and unless they were prepared to give their all for the shirt, he wasn’t interested. Very pleased at capturing Matt Palmer, and we had to compete with lg1 teams for him, but once introduced to VP, and heard how many fans we had, that was it!

Everyone is excited about the game on Sunday.

Evertime I hear from GB, he goes up in my estimation, and I am fairly certain we will see a completely different team ethic and performance from the team this season. It just feels different and the club are being very fan orientated, which should be at the heart of every club, the way they presented the away shirt last night, was impressive, professional and it was all about our heritage, our successes, and showed how much the club had listened to the fans: they asked for stripes over social media, they also asked for the white shirt, and they gave us both! If this both translates on the field and becomes part of the fabric of the club, we are most definitely on our way.

 

Colville still not signed and is weighing up his options. Bowyer said no deadline set. Sorry, but time to tell him to do one, hes obviously not that keen to re-sign, so time to move on now

Very pleasing to hear these encouraging words from GB, rather than an odd soundbite from a player doing a hurried T&A piece on a Thursday night !
As you say, if all that is replicated on the pitch, the coming season appears brighter the to closer we get to Aug KO. Of which ....... For all we fans are wanting and hoping for a Win against Cambridge - It is not a forgone conclusion .... It'll be how we follow that result up, which will influence our season, IMO.

 

Not forgetting Bowyers comment with regards getting the ball forwards in the correct manner, no route one he wants us to play in on the grass.
Sannell was a real surprise though he might have been the joker in the pack but looked very shy.
When he was on about his hair I thought its been done Sean, your old mate Jamie Lawrence we never knew from one week to the other what colour his hair would be or even if he'd have any.

 

Swindon manager Wellens says they are very close to a striker signing but won’t be able to finalise it until they return from their weeks training abroad.He also said that the players club won’t let him go until they sign his replacement and it’s the same with another planned signing. This could be about Doyle as he’s been strongly linked with them.
