    Yet, the "truly awful Posh" are still light years ahead of us and have been for a decade or so.

    Makes you wonder how bad the mis management must be at our club if we're still trailing them by so far?

    Is interesting if they bother completing the pay out.

    They've described before on a podcast how 'paying off' a sacked manager works, I think it was after we sacked Adams. So the contract basically just carries on running, the manager still gets paid monthly as they did before and will until the end of the contract, or until they get a new job. Once the manager signs on for a new job, the 'pay off' ends. Darragh confirmed in his manager contracts they have clauses to not pay as much if the manager is struggling. He said Fergusons last time in L1 was if they sack him with the club outside the play offs, they only cover like 75/80% of the remaining deal, if they were in the bottom half it dropped to like half the contracts worth. Apparently those clauses are very common in the EFL.

    But given his sacked managers always sign back on with him, do they even bother paying off the remainder of the initial contract before signing the new one? Odd one.

    Basically, sacking them. Paying them their monthly wage the rehiring them if they haven't found a job in a period of time. Playing the system then?

    I would imagine the contract until end of the season coincides with when McAnthony intends leaving Posh.

    Wherever McAnthony ends up next, he is sure to employ Fergie!
