ALEX JONES / JAKE REEVES our only hope now

if Jake Reeves is our only hope then things are much worse than I thought

 

Reeves wasn’t here when we got to Wembley was he?

2 players who have never done anything

 

We can rebuild him... We have the pitch

 

They might make a guest appearance for a game or 2 but can't see them staying fit for longer than that.

 

There decent for hospital vists wether it’s for visiting sick fans or been patients them selves

 

Two middle of the road players. Not bad, not amazing, can't see it making much difference.

Jones is the same as Doyle and Ball so unlikely to start any games.

Reeves would probably get in at this point, but will take a while to be fully match fit.

 

You never hear about this in the national press do you, it's all the negative stuff.

Well Done Reeves and Jones.

 

I still have hope for these two. Reeves is a good player who was clearly struggling with injury at points last season. Certainly impressed early last season as opposed to Wright so far this season.

Jones is frustrating. Clearly a good striker and really does know how to score goals but he desperately needs to get over his injury troubles. We can't be relying on him to get our goals because he will need a lot of phasing back in.

 

Reeves had the confidence when he first came to get on the ball and try and take the team forward. Think the team was poor going forward and he lost his way and then got injured.

We have no one at the minute who wants to do that in midfield. They look terrified.

Makes sense. I don’t think he as bad as made out. He had big boots to fill when Cullen went back to West Ham but we were never going to get someone as good whoever we signed

 

I’ve given Reeves peltere in the past but he walks right back into our midfield without question, even if they were all fit

That’s how bad it is

As for Jones, cameo sub appearances I think is the best he can hope for

 

Scary that it’s the case, but someone dropping short for the ball as Reeves does is just what we need, on Jones, his goal/game record is pretty decent.

 

When he came on against Blackpool

 

We let in 3 goals and barely got the ball
