I watch quite a lot of Manchester United - I've never once mistaken Pogba's performances as a lack of effort, just that he was a bit rubbish under Mourinho - Akpan has strolled through games this year. and is absolutely an attitude problem. which most of his peers share, unfortunately.

Agree, I actually like Akpan. Don’t think we have seen anywhere near the player he could be. I’d happily see him still here next season but think it’s highly unlikely. Think there are League one clubs who would want to take him and don’t think we could sustain what I’d expect to be a high wage for League Two.

Can't agree BB, he's kept that shape all season, needs to try less tacos.

Akpan is used to being whipped, sadly.

How many years of your life, consecutively, can you possibly endure a feeling of absolute, total failure before you just stop putting your heart and soul into it?

I'm sure he thought this year, for Bradford City in League One, things would be different - but sadly, it wasn't.

For me, at this point, Akpan is a bottom half National League player in terms of both confidence and ability.

He is nothing like what we need for next season and should be let go ASAP.
