Thought he had his best game for us today. Definitely tired as the game went on.

 

I agree, I thought he worked his way into the game, I wouldn’t say he dominated the midfield but I started to notice him, had a few missed tackles but at least he was trying to get the ball. BD miss at the end though.

 

It was but seeing his and the other players devastation when it didn't go in gives me some hope that they do care.

 

I agree, it is hard to be critical when you can see they are trying. It was definitely an upgrade to what has been served up this season, what I did like was they kept going for the 90 minutes.

 

Best I've seen him play. Granted fluffed his chance to score but otherwise think he played well

 

I thought he had a good game today. He has that laid back style look about him, but his distribution was quite good today
For the first time in ages, our midfield wasn't second best today.

 

Akpan apart from his awfull miss was the player I thought we had signed this season he sat in the middle of the park helped us have the majority of possession and played some good passes. I would like to see him do more of the runs that brought about his missed chance

 

All season teams have found it too easy to run straight at our defence till today akpan sat in front of the defence and held the midfield together

 

He was in the our penalty area, clearing a ball as NKP did his usual frustrating hesitation job and then a few minutes later bursting through their penalty area

Define how that is lazy? It'd been hilarious if you could have called him that to his face, just after he scored

You're giving no credence to the fact he isn't match fit yet and hence is occasionally slow. But I now understand why Nigel Clough (remember Burton wanted him to stay) and Stephen Warnock rate him so highly

Back in 2010, you'll have been one of those telling us that Gareth Evan couldn't hit a barn door and was barely a poor L2 player!!

 

Apkan played ok today.Maybe his best game for City.Get off his back

 

He's shit. As is the team.

 

Akpan was my mom he showed a bit of heart even though he missed his chance to score but saying that he shouldn't be the player that should have that chance.

 

He put in a decent effort today but his hash-up at the end was awful and epitomises this desperately poor season.

Throw Jim O’Brien and Scannell into the mix. I won’t say Reeves as who knows and that midfield starts to win you games
