Scrappy game, nothing clear-cut for all. Pointon and Wilson not getting in the game at all, thinking 0-0 at FT with this one.

 

Wimbledon remind me of Stevenage last year. Balls over the top to the corner for wide men to chase. Couple of units up front. No nonsense at the back. Lots of effort to close us down when we get the ball.

If Hughes was in charge we'd be losing by now because we'd have faffed around at the back and been closed down and made errors.

It's not going to be pretty but we have the fight to win this.

 

Scrappy bog standard league 2 game so far, hope it improves second half as the ball keeps going out for throws.

Yes sadly chalk & cheese with regards the Notts County/Mansfield game, we have to raise our game.

 

Yet to see what Wilson brings. Seems like a poor player from the games he’s played so far. Doesn’t offer much of anything, doesn’t take on his man, doesn’t provide any crosses or shots. A bit of a nothing man.

 

Not being funny but Davidson just pulled Platt down by his shirt which is a foul and a yellow card as per the new rules. If we are playing to the rules then it shouldn’t have been a corner for them but a red card as a second yellow. No consistency
