We play down the middle and make it hard to score, Crawley brought Marshall a winger on and then spread the ball wide to put crosses in, Adams could do the same and play a winger but chooses not to, Most goals originate out wide even ours on the odd occasion we play it like the first half where one good cross got the goal. Having said all that the 2 Crawley goals looked stoppable by the keeper but maybe a bit harsh as they were very good crosses

 

Oh to have a player who could come on for 20 minutes and turn a game. We can but dream.

Yes I echo those thoughts. However as much as I can’t do with Rupp , Sparks has made some very bold comments and i knew straight away he had set himself up for a fall.

Not sure that applying the term 'time' is entierly the best parameter. Fine when setting targets but football wise, the main progress has surely to be the assembly of a balanced squad, well drilled through effective management. This is purely down to choices on what type of player we bring in and how he fits into the team. Time isn't the over riding criteria here,I think that with the right management and backing we would make progress irrespective of time restraints. I am sure Sparks has improved the overall stability in the day to day running of the Club and the marketing team seem to have made progress in the most challenging of times.But you can't get away from the importance of stitching together the fabric that provides the platform for success on the field. 3 years is really time spent on wasted opportunity imo.

I think it’s the more behind the scenes of the club that worries me.

 

What’s Dave Baldwin up to these days? Has his gardening leave from the EFL ended?
As I’ve said previously I think Sparks has a place at the club as commercial director or the like but needs someone in to be charge of the football bit

I am tempted to bin off my registration on the main BCFC site for commentary and pay another tenner to watch them dance through 90 minutes of bab......., they keep emailing me about the games and it depresses me..

 

And the fact he’s a big city fan, that’s our only hope with him really.

He seems ignorant of fans staying away-is a form of organised protest or a walk out at ‘x’ minute of a game more impactful?
