Voted tomorrow but that’s wishful thinking. They’ll wait until the season is well and truly dead then sack him before the season is out

 

Until just before season renewal time so it’s fresh and they can say look we got rid of the problem next season will be different we just need your money to make the difference, rinse and repeat.

 

And for when @Storck revives this poll, my choice is based on what I expect the powers that be to do, not what I want.

 

The poll is set to not show who has voted, so you can be rest assured it will not come back

 

Now that fans are signing “we want Adams out” and “Adams your football is shite” it won’t be at the end of the season.

 

Plus slagging off fans and calling out Sparks. No way will it be the end of the season .

 

I think the board have it in mind to get to end of season, but I think we will carry on performing below expected levels and their hand will be forced to fire him at the end of this month.

 

Interestingly, Width of a Post states he's on the "brink".

He's never going to quit with 2 years left on his deal.

 

Irrespective of the timing, its such a shame that Adams is not working.

I was one whom was happy for Adams to join. I'd love it to work for him but the writing seems daubed very much on the wall.

I'm of the belief that removing Adams will not solve our issues. We may well remain within league 2, I guess, much the same as if he stays. A lack of leadership at the top is the ultimate issue.

I would love Adams to explain his comments in recent weeks. It won't happen and as such, us the fans, will ultimately suffer.

 

As much as I’m bored with the football that’s on offer, I can’t see Adams getting sacked unless we are in this same position this time next season.

 

Will Adams let Sparks sack him though…

 

I agree and it wouldn’t shock me if he goes has success elsewhere. If he gets sacked I hope he brings to light his comments on problems at the club. As much as the fans don’t like the likes of Grayson and Adams they’re important case studies to how we are seen in footballing circles and why we need change.

 

Thing is they say these things but never come out with anything really new or that wasn’t well know.

Eg we train at a school. And what? You didn’t know that before you joined?

 

It’s irrelevant that it’s a school it’s all about the facilities, I can’t comment as it’s not an area I know well but imagine they know more than me or anyone on here. We don’t attract the best young talent, rarely play better football and for years have never been the most athletic fit team in the league. So it says it is an issue. I imagine there’s more issues at the club, Warnock may not have known as it maybe higher up but hopefully Adams explains what he’s talking about when he’s gone.

 

Just had an interesting chat with someone in football (partly as an agent) - his view is Adams is wrong and there will still be a long line of managers interested in the job, the key for us (more than other league 2 clubs) is trying to pick the right one. We are viewed as a unique challenge at this level but also as a massive opportunity by most - egos make them want to be the one to get us ticking,
One other thing he said is, if Adams does go, a new man would be very aware most of the squad are out of contract this summer and all the loanees are only to end of the season so they would have the chance to assess and largely build their own team this summer.
He thinks we should be brave and go for an up and coming manager rather than a 'name' who might be viewed as a safe hand - thinks there are a few out there who would relish the chance

Does unique mean dysfunctional? I can imagine that’s the only real attractive thing about our club, the potential and as you say an ego who thinks he can be the one to change our fortunes, sadly so many managers have failed in such a small space of time it’s hard too see it happening. I’d consider him at Halifax although I don’t know his style of football and philosophy, but he’s certainly done a great job.
