Cue meltdown

 

Oduor won’t be anywhere near the Kenyan national team. He was a sub and subbed off after 20 minutes. Their manager has the same feeling I and most fans have about him.

Before I get called out, he slows the play down too much when he could get at a defender, then runs into a dead end loses possession and has a lack of desire to regain it as he’s scared of a tackle.

I’d keep both as back up when injuries hit so probably should get shut so they both can find game time

As for Wilson he has never been given an extended chance the last time we saw him he came on for the last twenty five I’m utes or so and absolutely obliterated the full back and yet was never seen again. Unfortunately it seems Alexander doesn’t like playing youngsters

 

Apart from Pointon and Kavanagh, he does seem to favour experience over youth. To be fair Parky was exactly the same and has been very successful with it.

 

Wilson is hardly a youngster.

He turns 25 this coming season. Granted, he's little league experience but that perhaps tells a story in itself.

I like the lad purely because attacking, pacey wingers are fun to watch but realistically is he good enough for what we need? I think not.

 

Except in the games he goes missing. Ignore those and I agree he never let's us down. Never.

Oyegoke, Tomkinson, Young, Kavanagh and Bobby are younger! You dont have talk some guff.

 

Whether he's good enough or not is kind of by-the-by.

We don't play wingers.

We should do him a favour and loan him to an NPL club.

I can’t agree with that Park. When he’s on his game he’s a real handful. He had one purple patch when he played really well on the right of a front three for three or four games. But when played further back have been several other games when he’s either gone missing or looked a liability, coughing up possession in dodgy areas.

 

Spot on. Two or three really outstanding games, forgive me I can’t remember, but towards the back end but honestly the rest of the time a tad meh! He drifted in and out of games far too often. A wasted talent . Plays like he’s got a massive chip on his shoulder. Hard to explain.

 

He gives off 'this is just a job' vibes to me. I actually don't think he'll be that bothered he isn't getting that much game time as long as he's getting paid.

 

Nowhere near good enough for a team with promotion aspirations.

Massive step up from the Welsh league, and I think National League is more his level
