    What's happened to him already?.

I caught the Wrexham game before I went on holiday and realised yesterday that not been involved since.

Another one injured or just not up to it?

I asked the same the other day Idle. Apparently Hughes has said he isn't ready yet but I've not heard it and if that's the case, why was he on the bench against Wrexham and subbed on? Imagine how the lad feels though. Signed on a permanent 3 year deal and the minute we get 2 loans in, he isn't even on the bench.

Wonder if we’ll see Adam Wilson stake a claim next year. I doubt it unfortunately but he’s scored 9 in 33 games for The New Saints, and by all accounts he’s been excellent this season. Maybe there’s something to work with and the loan did him good.

I would think we have seen the last of him
Even if we can’t sell him, he will more than likely get a season loan
It’s aright being excellent at the level he has played. League one will be completely different

The last time we saw Wilson he came on as second half substitute I forget who it was against and roasted their fullback I thought we are going to have a really good player on our hands. But he never played again for us

One swallow does not make a summer
I am pretty certain the club will have been keeping an eye on his performances and if any good , might have recalled him
Bloody good finish though against Hollywood FC

    Stranger things have happened…

Different circumstances but I remember Mark Marshall couldn’t get anywhere near the team under Parkinson, yet was player of the season the year after.

Wasn’t that under Mcall after Parky left
I am not sure GA rates him and obviously Hughes who hardly selected him

That was under a different manager though. Wilson signed in summer 23. It's been 2 years and 2 managers that haven't fancied him now. I doubt GA will have changed his mind from last season.

He's got more chance to forcing his way in next season now that we play a 343 so there's actually a position in the team which there wasn't at the start of the season in the 352 but I still don't think it will be enough for him to have a realistic chance of decent game time unless he has an unbelievable pre-season.

Doubt we will see him again. He wasn't even really a first name on the team sheet at TNS, with 17 league starts this season and he featured in 52% of possible minutes.

Not a chance he'll have a good in L1, maybe Hughes wants him back at Carlisle? Although rumours today is that the Carlisle owners have been asking the squad if they want Hughes? Which sounds biblically wrong.

The more comes out of that place the more I wonder if they are just a bunch of amateur owners ?
I doubt Hughes would stay anyway but asking the squad …Sounds like they are terrified to make decisions anymore .? @Bluebry@Bluebry . Surely this is incorrect?

I wouldn't be surprised if they have consulted the players as sadly player power is getting bigger and bigger even in lower leagues, I'm certain that there have been a few managers here have been sacked as the players wanted them out so threw the manager under the bus. With Carlisle they've still got 18 senior players under contract for next season so they've nearly got a full squad there and I'd imagine some of them will be tough/expensive to get rid of.

Its all blown out of proportion 'as usual'.
I believe players have been asked to give their thoughts about the season that's just gone, and what they want and expect from the coming season, which to me sounds quite logical, nothing about who they want as their next manager.
We had a situation when Simmo was here, who was consistently falling out with players, he also had his son in as one of the coaches which led to bad vibes all over the place.
With Williamson we actually had a situation where in one particular match the players rearranged the tactics 'DURING' a game themselves.
The Piataks are desperate to avoid this all happening again, and are giving a full review from top to bottom of the club.
Hughes hasn't commented as yet, but were led to believe that everything will be sorted out next week, including if Hughes gets the gig or not, and apparently he's still the favourite and appears to want the job.
Hope that clears it up for you chaps.:)

Thank you , I honestly think as you indicate , asking the “ squad” what “they want” sounds like someone is abdicating responsibility if things go wrong ….?

Of course what they want is an instant return to EFL , why do they need asking?

Some may think it sounds logical, but in all my experience it sounds frankly odd ?

Oh well , I hope it works out, and quickly.
