That first half was excellent from us. People will say it was a poor an inexperienced Stanley side, but over the years, we'd go a goal up an then let the other team get back into the game. Not today. We stayed on the front foot throughout, pressed high, direct with our attack. Didnt give the opposition a chance.

Great linkup play between Cook an Wright. Id probably say that from all of our attacking options, they seem to compliment one another best. Glad to see Walker get some minutes on return from injury. Think Gillead did really well today. Pressed throughout an was very tidy on the ball. I actually liked the look of Ridehalgh as the LCB. Think he linked up well with Richards, an moving forward, that should be his position should he play. He allows us to get the ball forward, better than id say Kelly when he plays on the left of the back 3. Onto Tuesday now. Need to keep it up

 

Cracking recent form. Only Walsall ahead of us, with 15 points, and we've only conceded one goal in six games, despite a few players out. Remarkable.

The thing is Loyal, Fans will always find something to complain about.
I will pay the price asked, we have had it cheap enough for long enough and the club are not immune to the cost of living increases.
In this instance though , the gripe is about an owner, who thinks the business can be run from afar, hands off with no input from himself, financial or otherwise.
That would be alright, if the guy actually running the show, is up to the job, and in the eyes of many, including mine, he is not.

Jump ship implies there is another ship ie club I will be supporting; no chance. You talk about abandoning the club, I feel the club has abandoned me. They refuse to communicate with the fans, just a pathetic screen shot of increase in running costs, well I run a household and inflation has had an impact on my running costs as well, so treating me like an idiot. Fickleness! Really! I am well used to watching City in the 4th division, as we have been there a good deal of time. I was 18 years old when I first went to VP 1967 we were in the 4th Division then as well. We have supported the club ever since. I have made my position clear as to why I am considering not buying a ST this season. It is not a whimsical decision in fact it will be very hard.

However, you have your image to maintain and your ill thought out post on the reasons why ppl might not buy a ST this season fits your image and agenda.

A summary from me, a very professional performance but a poor game from a viewing point of view., in respect that opposition were garbage. That said I want to see us punish rubbish like this and that's what we did. Smallwood back made a massive difference, look way more balanced and that allows Oduor to roam forward at will.
Got to follow this up with another good show on Tuesday as my lad should be at the game next Saturday. I want the place bouncing against a resurgent Mansfield, a big away following always sets the tone for a decent afternoon.

 

Can we not as Bradford city fans , just enjoy the win, the current form, the clean sheets etc.
Without name calling and finger pointing.
We are still in with a chance of making the playoff's for a sucessive season. Whilst that chance is there we all need to stand togethor and get behind GA and the players.

Some excellent football played in that half, very enjoyable.

 

If they were looking like they could get back into the game then I can understand where you are coming form but they didn't and it was a great chance for us to get another 1 or 2 goals which could be vital at the end of the season.
