    .. I love Bradford. Not just the football club. The entire city.

    However... after everything today... I've decided to stay away from Bradford for the foreseeable future. I'm heartbroken, I really am.

    I have clocked up at least 598 miles in total to come and watch this game today and I sang my heart at the end of the game with my true opinions and my opinion were quickly quashed... I was only met with intimidation... to which I reacted with a fist in someones face, this is my own fault to which I reacted badly and I hold my hands up

    The person in question was a lot bigger than me and got in my face and tried to stop me singing.... I mean, I thought we lived in a democracy with freedom of speech? I wasn't exactly being rude in my language. The guy in question was not a steward, just another fan... I mean I would not try to approach someone myself and grab them the way he did me and try to force them to stop expressing their own opinion....

    I am better than that.... I don't need that kind hostility in my life.

    Everyone that knows me, knows that I love this football club, those close to me have seen how far I've travelled to watch Bradford in action... but no more. I shall not be treated like a criminal when a thug threatens and attacks me and when I actually defend myself I get treated like I am the one in the wrong.

    This is an open letter to EVERYONE in Bradford... I bloody love Bradford City.... but after the treatment I received from the staff today after defending myself, I will not return.

    We live in a democracy, not a dictatorship. I can sing what I like, I was not swearing and I was not offensive in my words, I merely chanted my honest opinions about Edin Rahic... I simply chanted, "Edin Out!"

    But I feel I can't sing that at Bradford City without certain fans accusing me of being Xenophobic and/or staff coming over to remove me when I tried to chant it. (The stewards were telling me to stop chanting my opinions in a free DEMOCRACY)

    Please do not presume me to be racist. I was merely expressing an opinion to someone who I do not think capable of running a football club. His nationality has nothing to do with it.

    I have my opinion and everybody else is entitled to theirs, I should be able to express mine freely.. People will and CAN disagree. But I really can not deal with the hostility anymore. I travelled a long way today to come and watch our club and I got treated like a piece of dirt when I expressed an opinion that went against Edin Rahic.


    I will not be back at Bradford City until he leaves.

    But please close my account and delete any photo data associated with it.

    This is officially my last post on Bantam Talk.

    First of all, based on his last message don't do anything with his account yet. Its an emotional response. Give it a week and if @PlatinumChaosX@PlatinumChaosX still wants it deleted do it then.

    After that, if he does still don't delete him. Change his username to something random, change his password and his email and remove his avatar (and if he has any personally identifiable info in posts let us know which ones so we can edit it out)

    Removing is going to cause so many issues after all

    I don't know you mate, but I really hope you can just lift your head up, think of yourself (maybe for once) and rise above this isolated incident.....
    You must not let this disrupt your obvious love and devotion for your club...

    From what you've described, there is no excuse for somebody to react in the way he did but equally I don't condone what you did. These are things which happen when emotions are running high but I don't believe he is representative of the majority of fans.

    I hope you stick around on BT for very selfish reasons. As I've said before to you, your enthusiasm is infectious and while I don't always agree that it is always well placed, it certainly cheers me up and I suspect many more in the dark days of this regime. You would be missed on here.

    Why not take on board @SimonW@SimonW 's suggestion and let things settle for a while before making your final decision? If you still feel like this in a week or two's time, then I'd understand and respect your position. But I suspect at the mo, things are still a little raw with you. Don't let your enjoyment and attachment to all things City be ruined by some hothead and doing something you might well regret later.

    For now I will leave the account active , If you decide to not use it thats fine but I see no reason to delete everything

    Things will seem different in a few days , If in a few weeks your adamant you want it gone we can look at it then

    Hats off to you Platinum! It might not be the " right" thing to do but twatting someone who essentially sounds like a right bully...well done. Probably not a popular view but I get how you must have felt. Don't turn your back in something so important to you on the back of one incident with someone like that. Take a breath and just keep on supporting the team if not the chairman and some dickhead fans.

    In all seriousness can't you move seats or are you sat with friends, it's something I'm always weary of at away games who's sat in your vicinity that's why I prefer unreserved seating, good luck in the future, but you know once you get the City bug it ain't that easy to give up COME ON CITY!! :D :D :D :D:D.
