If I had Three Hundred Million Quid, I'd buy them all and a couple of Bugatti Veyrons in different colours, depending on my mood.
I'd probably buy a trip to the Space Station too and a couple of private jets for fun.
I definitely wouldn't buy the players for my football team that we have over the last 18 months and run the club on a shoestring!

A lot of fans concerns about the direction Edin & Stefan are taking our club, and after seeing all the league one games bar Southend I can certainly understand their concerns/anxieties,
Edin realising the mistake he made in appointing Collins and rectifying it by bringing in a proper coach/manager might save our season, which is rather ironic when you consider after the Yeovil situation where things went pear shaped Edin has still not steadied the ship, if he thinks things are bad with fans now I believe if Hopkins can't save our season as the Bachman–Turner Overdrive song goes, "You Ain't Seen Nothin Yet" Mr Rahic.

Im losing the motivation to travel up and down m1 to games its very depressing following us at the moment aint it.

 

I think if given sufficient funds in Jan, and perhaps he knows a couple of out of contract players in between, we'll be ok.
IMHO Hopkin is a brilliant appointment. I'm sure it will not be long before he has his staff in place too.

 

They set budgets every year knowing they may have to sell an asset ( I clearly stated that) Town offered us a transfer fee and Nahki forced the situation by stating he would only play for Town, the reason they sold Nahki was nothing to do with not having a Cup run but that he only had 18 months left on his contract and rather than take the gamble of letting him run it down which was debated to death on C&B, or taking the transfer fee with only 18 months they were left with little option.

Well if your little bird is correct that can only come from one source, how much convincing does his sleeping partner need to reailise Edin is the same as Micheal Collins was out of his depth.
If I believed that for one minute I might hope Hopkin fails just to get the egotistical man out of our club.

 

I dont remember ever hearing that comment, but as I stated once Town put the offer in and Nahki told the chairman he would not play for any other club bar Town there was little they could do, call Towns buff, Mark Lawn in an interview passed the comment about Nahki only playing for Town as they had received offers from other club I believe Posh and Wigan were two of the clubs who wanted him as we wanted Nouha Dicko as his replacement.

James Hanson last week signed a new deal that will keep him at Valley Parade until 2017 and City would love to pin down his strike partner. But Wells has so far been reluctant to commit to talks and with 18 months of his current contract left, City cannot afford to let that run down too far if he is set to move on.

That doesn't sound like they had already planned to sel him.

There you go. They set the budget knowing that they could sell Nahki during the year. There was no situation to force in terms of him being sold. It was the plan from the start.
