Haven’t seen him play but based on what I read it seems Oyegoke is far more of an asset going forward from RWB so it seems a shame to lose that playing him at RCB. Especially when we have so many CBs all vying for a spot in the team. But agree, Halliday was solid last season and seems to be a firm favourite with MH so it’ll be interesting to see what we do.

Think the team that started against Middlesbrough should be the line up quite an attacking team

I feel like Oyegoke will be given the freedom to step out of defence to give an extra man in midfield or creating an overlap on the right, a la Sheff Utd - Or, at least, I feel he'd be suited for the role from the little I've seen

Its a pain, but not too disruptive for you. You need to continue into London and transfer to Victoria Station. From there catch the train to Gatwick Airport and change for the Fastrack 20. You can download train timetables from the bus website.

So, I'd add on the extra travel to your ticket into London or Finsbury Park maybe then take the Victoria line from FP to Victoria.

Travelling anywhere nowadays is a nightmare, recently went to Liverpool, train from Manchester cancelled both ways
Lots of hanging around, just can't rely on the trains nowadays.

For those travelling by train to Crawley, the 'final' timetables for services from London have now been loaded onto the National Rail website. Please note the following:
    • There will be no direct services from London to Crawley. However, there will be a limited service to Three Bridges, with a connecting service to Crawley, although this will significantly increase journey times.
    • By far the fastest way to Crawley is to get the train from London Victoria or London Bridge to Gatwick Airport station. There is a bus stop right by Gatwick Airport station, from where you can take either the Fastway 10 or Fastway 20 bus service to the ground. The bus stops, at the ground are very close to the away end. Fastway 10 also goes via Crawley Town Centre. A PlusBus ticket, as an add on to your rail ticket, will set you back £3.70 for a day's travel between Gatwick Airport, Crawley Town Centre and Broadfield Stadium.
    • After the match buses leave Broadfield Stadium at 16:59 (and every 10 minutes thereafter - Fastway 10) or 17:14 and 17:42 (Fastway 20). Journey time back to Gatwick Airport is between 20 and 24 minutes.
    • Trains, on Saturday are scheduled to leave Gatwick Airport, back to London stations at 17:30, 17:34, 17:40, 18:00, 18:04, 18:10 etc. Journey time from Gatwick to London is approximately 33 minutes.

Not true now that Thameslink (usually) goes right through the middle of London whereas driving takes you round those awful bottlenecks at Egham and Chertsey not to mention the currently dreadful roadworks at the M25/A3 roundabout.

You’ll be there in 10 minutes if your travel guesstimates are anything to go by. What was it 1.5 hrs to Walsall via the M62/ M6 in the evening peak?

I agree with that but it also shows how poor the recruitment has been that we now end up with Gillead in the left wing back slot as despite him not excelling in 4 other positions he's now a makeshift one for a 5th.

For me I'd probably abandon the plan until we get a wingback as we know Halliday and Ridehalgh are steady enough and hope the midfield improvements with Smith will be enough for now.

At the very least we'd be solid again and can perhaps build from there.

I notice that Crawley have signed an attacking midfielder , Kamarai Swyer, on loan from West Ham where he has scored 7 goals in 27 for their Under 21s.

I wonder if he is as good as Thierry Nevers.

probably more chance of scoring a goal than Ash Taylor.
If Cook doesn’t score for us, who will.
