Would it help if people knew the tune for Bread of Heaven?

 

I’ve just googled it - if you’d said to the tune of ‘You’re not fit to referee’, I’d have got it!

 

or "can we play you every week?"

 

It's not actually called Bread of Heaven. That's the chorus, but the hymn it's taken from is called Guide Me Oh Thou Great Redeemer.

And the tune is Cwm Rhondda

 

Interesting. I'd never heard that alternate title for the hymn. It was always Redeemer, not Jehova in schools and churches in my neck of the woods.

 

I think it depends on who did the Welsh translation
