I am not being funny but that could have been ripped from any online news source.

I was there and we did park the bus for large parts of the game as we had to at least get a point. In the end it could have easily been 3 had that dodgy goal been disallowed.

No mention of the homer ref giving yellows out to City players like sweets.

No mention of the almost silent home support sitting waiting for 'it' to happen. Your correspondent surely heard the question often chanted during the game by Citys fans of "Is this a library?".

    He’s just plugging his website.

Probably posting the same thing on every football forum for each respective team’s report.

Nice for an outlet to bother reaching out to real fans.

Respect to them for marketing their work.

At least he didn’t start his opening line with ‘Peterborough fan in peace....’

How many teams have come and "parked the bus" during the Parkinson/McCall days and many weren't bottom of the league.
Its not great to watch but thats down to the home team to break it down.

Football is a game of tactics,"parking the bus" is one of them.

If you are players the top scorers in the league it would be suicide to play a high line and open game against them. Another sneaky tactic to try and get sides to open up against them. Its notable their home form is a lot worse than their away form. Probably for this exact reason. Its up to him as a manager to work out a way to open sides up.

He can’t. He chucks strikers at it in the hope they get one for him. See Saturday for perfect example.

Guarentee he will sign at least one more in January

Very true. A James Hanson type who if the defence plays deep, the other strikers can pick up the pieces around the box

We've said exactly the same in the past at home - Plymouth last season was a prime example and we couldn't break them down....there are many ways to skin a cat as the saying goes...I just find Evans a very bitter man...I'm not sure exactly how 'good' he is as a manager / coach as he always seems to be backed by loads of cash, I think even at Mansfield he had decent backing and his sidekick Warne is exactly the same. Found it laughable that he came out and criticised Hopkin for his language towards the officials when all he ever does is get in the ear of the officials. Been done for exposing himself and been done for fraud whilst at Boston Utd...
