    And in fairness to Hopkin, he recognised those deficiencies in the squad prior to the transfer window opening. But between them - Rupp, Rhodes and Hopkin - nothing happened to change the structure of the squad and those same deficiencies remain today and will do for the rest of the season. It's anybody's guess why 'we' didn't do what Hopkin had wanted but instead we chose to bring in more of the same. It's a puzzle and looks like being the final nail in the coffin which will see us in League 2 next season.

    imagine, finding positives in having to play bloody Morecambe and Forest pissing Green.

    I'm not looking forward to ANY fixture. it's league 2 ffs. it's a cesspit league, with crap players, crap fans, crap grounds, and crap matches (although we're used to that boasting Parky and Hopkin and Grayson among our ex managers)
    I can safely say I bloody hate League 2 and there are no positives to be taken from our club getting relegated back to that level.

    It's a common theme that NOBODY is renewing because of the football, it's all about our time, our family and our friends until everything goes downhill at 3.00pm...

    I think the December upturn has ironically probably done for us. It looked like we had found a winning formula but even then, the glaring holes should have been fixed.

    Sadly..MIS MANAGEMENT, MIS MANAGEMENT. Might things have been better?..of course..where do we go from here? ..We could do with a plan and a huge dollop of optimism for the immediate future. What we are short on .. is a few words of encouragement from above.If only to create an interest and a reason to believe.

    Quite right.
    However they do have a captive audience waiting to see what the plans are
    James Mason could have spun some positives from this situation
    Instead of the complete silence we are getting at the moment
    upbeat "truthfull" plans could make a big difference to ticket sales
    It's the undecided fan we need to convince
    They are missing a big opportunity in my opinion

    L2 is totally depressing but if we could end up coming up through the playoffs and perhaps have a good cup run that might be a good season to watch. Makes me wonder if that's ever happened before.............only the best season ever!
