Isn’t Trueman the attacking coach? We need to seriously think about getting someone in. At the moment it’s two centre halves and a bloke who hasn’t played any decent football, trying to work attacking plays. This is where I’d expect Sharpe to earn his crust.

GA was the wrong appointment from the off and agree that he has totally lost the plot -that is if he ever even had a plot in the first place!
As per this time last season though, there is little to be gained from sacking GA whilst the current regime of Sparks, Gent etc are still in place.

Agreed. We’ve changed players and sacked managers yet haven’t looked at the coaches. We haven’t looked like a side that can create chances since McCall was here.

This isn’t about budgets and how the club is run. Tonight showed that we haven’t got a manager who knows what to do, we couldn’t compete with Morecambe who have no bloody money at all.

For the opposition the objective seems about getting our players marked, shirts pulled, and harassed for every single second they are on the ball, and as a team it seems like we have absolutely zero response to it. Trying hard is not enough.

We have been well and truly found out and have no answer to it.
