Billy was a decent player for us for lots of games. Granted he faded towards the end of his time with us, but there was a lot more to his time than just this game.

Brilliant, also sadly makes you realise how much we have since gone in totally opposite directions over past couple of years

 

To true nights like that make all the crap worth while, make the most of them because they’re rare. That said if you’d have told be when Jackson left that 18 months later we’d be in a major cup final and heading for promotion I’d have called you insane. Things can change quickly in football.

 

Its a good point Wilsden, for all the general doom and gloom at present you never really know whats round the corner in football - and its that hope that keeps us going. I also think we appreciate nights like that so much more because, as you say, they are more infrequent than we would like!
